Henry's eyes went wide as he stared at the creature in horror. It was like something out of a nightmare, a monstrous creature from the depths of the desert, and it seemed to be interested in Henry.
But Henry didn't linger around for introductions, he bolted from the area.
"Really mum? Not even a warning," he voiced out with displeasure.
But Felicity simply chuckled. "In real life, you don't get warnings dear. And don't forget, you can't get help from the system or use any other type of boost. That's how the academy exam is, so you must learn to rely only on your natural speed and nothing else," she explained with a wide smile, she was clearly enjoying the situation Henry was in.
Henry sighed, he could hear her smile beaming through her voice, but he had no choice. He had to survive without any his boosts.
