Your breath stinks!

Near the gates of the Longmen Base Leader's residence, Bingwen and Hei Qian stood vigil, their gazes sharp as two cloaked figures passed by.

Their movements were smooth, unhurried, but the way they carried themselves stirred a sense of unease. Before the figures could even reach the gates, they suddenly vanished into thin air.

Hei Qian's brows furrowed. "Did you see that?"

Bingwen, equally startled, scanned the surroundings. "They didn't enter… but they didn't turn back either."

Both men instinctively took a step forward, their eyes sweeping across the shadows. Not long after, a flicker of movement appeared at the edge of their vision.

A person emerged from the darkness. As he approached the torchlight, his features became visible.

It was Lu Chenyu.

Hei Qian's expression shifted from vigilance to surprise. He turned to Bingwen, voice lowered yet urgent. "Brother Bingwen, isn't that the man Sister-in-law has been searching for?"
