[Full Chapter 11] Fracture Cup

'It seems Darling finally leaves while that bastard watches the Tv like it was his house. No matter~ It's time for my opportunity to strike! Mumu!!' Yoko who is in front of the door getting excited as she is about to take one more step closer to her goal. Yoko walks to the living room looking for Yuki– "Hey." She shouts, hands on waist, just looking like those girls in highschool that would make fun of you. Yuki murmur– "Mm?" He doesn't look over or give any respect. Yoko continued to mutter– "Just you know you wouldn't stay here forever. I made sure to throw you out like a piece of garbage." But Yuki knows how to respond– "K~" He is still not looking at her. Yoko murmur– "Mm!" Before she decided to leave the room.
She leaves the house next door. While Yuki leaned to look at the hallway to wonder– "Where is she going?" But decides to be unconcerned as he pushes the remote button to play some super hero series.

I open the door and head out to see the sun is bright. My face was covered with a mask, my head is hooded with my hoodie that length above my knees. Plain black pants and shoes. In my pocket is my phone, wallet and monocular. It's time. TIME TO STALKING! "Mumu!!" I couldn't hold my excitement knowing today I would discover Darling's workplace.. It's been multiple tries, but yet not to succeed. Darling is indeed a difficult man who is sneaky with his life. But no matter, I already implant micro GPS inside his clothes. 'Mumumu..' I grin as I know he wouldn't escape–though no one could see my lips.. I leaned to the handrail and took out my monocular to look at Darling afar in the streets. 'I better go now!'

I start to follow Darling from afar. He couldn't see me but I could with the monocular. Though when we arrive in the city, I would heavily rely on GPS since Darling tends to get lost in the crowd. I march forward with a monocular in my hand. Using the monocular from time to time just to make sure I follow the right person. But I hope I don't look suspicious enough that people think I'm stalking someone. 'Wait a minute' I am stalking.
'Ahh need to stop thinking or I'll lose Darling..' I continue to walk my way without looking anyway other than Darling. But suddenly–! *!?!?* *Honk!!!* I turn around to be surprised that a vehicle is approaching on the road! "Onee-san!!!" I couldn't react to any of the sound, so something pulled my hand away from the road before I realized. As I get to the end of the crossing line, I am finally able to breathe again after a moment where my heart stops. Then the voice appeared– "nee Onee-san, daijoubu??" Hearing it finally made me look up to this person who appears to be a highschool girl. She was holding both my arms.
The highschool girl talked– "Wait a minute.. You that woman!" For some reason, she seemed to recognize me from somewhere, but I couldn't recall. I utter– "Excuse me?" But she seemed enthusiastic about the coincidence and tried to make me remember– "Aa you know, aa that time? When-when you are at the cafe.. And-and, and you try to sip on your bf cup?"
"Agk" My body paralyzed as a whole, standing straight and remembering the sequence. My head turns to the right to mutter– "Ahah.. I think you got the wrong person.." Everything started to get into me. The feeling of embarrassment, the tighter my cheeks are, the more I get overwhelmed if she truly remembers. 'Ahh why she remember it!!!' I could scream inside my heart but could I just play dumb??
The highschool responded– "Wrong person? Emm I don't know.. Are you not using the same hoodie as before?" The moment I heard her word out– "Blurgh!" blood came out my mouth knowing that I didn't change any clothes at all.. The highschool girl hurried closer with her hand– "you okay!?" I wave my hand to reassure her– "Mm I'm okay. I don't like fashion anyway…" I lean backward with a tear falling to my cheek. 'No good!' Darling gonna disappear! I look back to tell her I need to go– "Sorry but–" But before I could continue she suddenly checked her phone and muttered– "Oh no! I'll be late for school!" She took the amount of time wasted on me but she seemed to be reluctant to leave– "Hm-hm" She jumped side to side with her legs in frustration– "I really want your number but I need to go…" Her cheek is getting red as she worries. 'Why she want my number..' I needed to question her desires– "why??" Then suddenly she burst out–! "Nee-nee, can we meet at that one cafe in front of the statue of a cat??" Somehow the content she burst out was a meeting request. I was about to decline– "Sorry–" but she cut me off by saying– "after school, after school, okay!? Alright I'll be going now! Byenara!" There she goes, running off like it was I accept her invitation…

I opened up my phone to see the GPS tracking and saw Darling was already so far ahead.. I grab my phone tightly in anger that some highschooler just interrupted my stalking section.. I lean backward and scream– "Ahhh!!!!" But then I glanced to the side and saw some children whispering to each other. I bet they all think I'm just a weird woman who screams out loud in public. 'Wait a minute..' I am that woman… The more I think about it, I get slightly depressed.
I marched forward running as fast as I could to chase Darling. But as I arrived at the city, all I could rely on was the GPS. I look left to right but notice nobody looks like Darling. I walk slowly forward as I search for Darling. Darling is hard to follow, he is standing out in public but once you lose him, he disappears into nothingness. Just like previously before I kidnaped Darling…
The time when I followed him from the apartment. I thought I should be accustomed to his walk path, maybe I could find some dark alley without no one around and I could kidnap him. But multiple tries, and every single time he walks around the corner, he disappears! I have pondered whether Darling suspects someone is stalking him. Next time I should ask him since our relationship is going great~! Never I ever thought kidnapping him would work.
After a while the GPS pinpoints one building! It seems I found a Darling workplace. It was opposite the road. Then I peek on the monocular and see the building was a cafe!? 'Wait, Darling is a bartender?' Mumumu… Just the slight thought that my partner is an extremely cool bartender, just wingle my heart!! But thinking it through he must handle a lot of customers that were women… He..he..he.. I couldn't help but to grip my monocular tightly.
But still, he said he works at a coffee bean company… My eyes avert slowly scanning the attire building to higher. *!?* I saw some small building sign boards with the same cafe name.. "Fracture cup?" The logo was a cup with fracture design emitting breaking point. 'Maybe he works up there.. My eyes finally came back down to see the inside of the cafe. But suddenly–!
*!?!?*
I saw this bastard walking inside the cafe!!! I shout– "Yuki!?" How could he know Darling was working here!? 'Wait…' Did Darling tell him about his workplace but not me!? "Why, why, why, why, why!?" I couldn't hold my thoughts as it jungling wild! I peek deeply into the monocular and I saw him with Darling!? "What!?" So-so, he knew before me??? Am I second to Kael? There is no way.. There is no way.. There is no way.. There is no way.. My body began to shake profusely in anger and sadness. I couldn't hold it–!
"Excuse me ma'am? Can you come with me to the police station?" Suddenly a female officer stood beside me… 'Are?' The officer smiles while all the people around me look suspicious… Am I getting arrested?

"Woah this cafe looks spectacular." I commented as I entered the Fracture Cafe. I walked inside to see how professional this place looked and how comfortable it felt. "Okyakusama, please follow me to order." The lady waistres on the side heed me. "Ah very well." I responded, feeling quite honored to be treated like a king. 'Ah' I murmured in great demeanor. Although the waistres grin like she was irritated for some reason..
"Okyakusama, here is our menu~" She gave me the menu book. While I already have in mind what I want to order but nothing wrong with seeing the menu. *Toka-toka* There is a footstep of someone walking around the corner. Then out of imagination, the person turned his head to look at me–! "Boya?" It was big brother! But it irritates me to be called a little boy…
He came over and I asked forward– "Did you also come here to try to make Monday special?" It was all because of that one Tv show where the host goes to viral places and tries their food. I was just watching the Tv and saw the show, only to realize it was close by. And before Big brother left, he gave some money to me. Not gonna lie he is a great brother.
He responded– "Monday special? I'm working here." Big brother gives his straight answer, like a ruler dropping to the ground, drastically. I replied– "Ah! Okay! Can I get Monday special for free?" You never know if you didn't ask, right?? Big brother mutters– "Dude I literally gave you money this morning." But his finger points to the waistres signaling that I get a free monday special! 'Hehe.'

Didn't expect the Tv show to showcase our cafe actually attracting customers.. I deeply think about the decision making. Though paying for the Tv show does come with great setbacks in terms of money.. But at least I see the result, "right boya?" I was talking with Yuki here.
"Please don't call me that." He was very disappointed. Suddenly the waitress Matsumoto whispered to me– "Kaito-san, I didn't know you had a little brother." She leans closer to me while Yuki is waiting for his dessert. "Well it's a difficult situation." I respond to Matsumoto. But she quickly asked– "Oh, but shouldn't he be in school?" Matsumoto's question sparked some thoughts inside my head. 'He will skip school if he stays with me, huh.'
*!?!?*
Ring!-Ring!
Suddenly the door opened wide with arms pushing through! It was a woman wearing a hoodie with a mask!? Then a hurried voice came outside–! "Ma'am! Please don't resist! You are very suspicious right now!" The woman looked around the place and quickly saw me! She screams– "Darling!" She swoon jumping into my arms desperately. Then the voice from outside enters and it appears to be a female officer. She shouted– "Everyone calm down! Ma'am please let the man go!" The officer holds her hands trying to calm the situation while Yuki shouts– Aneue!?" Matsumoto beside me slowly tried to walk away. The officer responded– "Ma'am please calm down, if you harm the citizen I would have to arrest you."
My eyes quickly look around the cafe, everyone seems to panic! If Yuki thinks this is Yoko then it means… 'She's gonna ruin my cafe image!!!' I try to handle the situation by muttering– "Woah-woah-woah, what's fucking going on!?" The officer who slowly tries not to escalate the situation answers– "Dear citizen, please calm down, everything is under control."
But I quickly flare back in confusion– "Huh? What does she do!?" The girl was still in my arms, hugging my whole body into lock position. The officer tolerated– "Citizen, I couldn't answer your question, right now, please don't escalate!" The officer desperately tries to not escalate the situation but her attention is swiftly drawn to Yuki. "Wait, did you call her sister!?" Yuki answered– "Yeah! She is my sister! I think.." Yuki for a moment looked for sure but a second later questioned himself. But that gives me a reassurance to really peek into the girl facade. Her eyes were watery, as I looked into her, her eyes avert straight into my pupils. Seeing how she looks, I gently use my finger to pull her mask. As I pull gently, it reveals a saddened girl whose lips were upset, cheeks puff reddish, eyes looking sympathetic. It was Yoko all along..
I shouted after– "Officer! She is someone I know.." The officer responded– "Really!? Can you tell her to calm down and not run away??" I look back at Yoko who is still looking upset. I gently ask– "Can you listen to the officer?" But Yoko shook her head with a bum lip. I ask again– "What's wrong?"
"Mm I just want to know where you work, so I follow you after you leave…" She answered this time with her sulking soft voice. There is a lingering pure sadness in her voice. I finally understand what's going on– "Uh.. I see you stalking me.." I hold my lips in expectation for her psychotic behavior. If this keeps going on, my cafe would probably have a bad image.. I should hurry up and settle the issue. I lean my head slightly to the side to give her reassurance– "If we hold hands and not let go before the officer leaves, would you let her talk to you?"
Yoko nodded. I take a deep breath before telling the officer. "EH?" The officer responds when I'm telling her that Yoko would talk if we hold hands. I bring the officer and the siblings upstairs to the office to let the cafe customer calm down.
As we talked it through, I told Yuki to sit somewhere further away so he couldn't hear the discussion. And he is enjoying his Monday special at the couch like he owns the place. While Yoko sat beside me and still held my hand tightly. 'A bit sweaty..' "So what is your relationship with her again?" The officer asked to identify my relationship. Now it comes to this, there are two routes I could go. Tell her that she is my friend and let the officer bewilder her head out or just lie about everything… I look over my hand while holding Yoko. 'There is no way a normal friend would do this kind of stuff..'
And so confess– "She is my gf." I went down on the route, and I could go deeper. But a glimpse toward Yoko to see her face flare out like she just discovered a big thing. But she heed her face lower while those cheeks looked like a palm. I speak again to settle the discussion– "Officer, my gf is ill." I just have to use every single card I have and make it sound reasonable enough. "She had a critical illness. So those psychotic behaviors are just her illness. I hope you understand." The officer went into a setback, realizing the situation. Slowly she nodded in agreement. "I see. I guess if she only likes this to her partner, there is nothing wrong as long as you are comfortable with it. Very well then, I shall take my leave." We stood up and bowed before leaving.
The officer left and I was trying to settle the matter with a co-worker but at that moment I realized Yoko was not letting my hand go. "Could you let go?" I ask gently. She turned her head right to left. "She's gone." I mutter. But Yoko whispered to my ear– "The deal is to hold hands until the end of the day." The moment I heard it, I knew she bullshiting me! I yell to Yuki who is still eating his Monday special– "Hey tell her what I said before!" That moment, Yuki raised his legs above the table! "I think what she said is correct. Are you dumb?" Yuki responded with a great manner! I yell again– "What is this!? What game is this!?"
*!?*
Suddenly someone gently touches my shoulder! "Woah.. It's so great to hold a girl's hand is it…" It was Kobayashi! Her spec glares at me like I was a dead meat! She sat at her table afterward. Then a door opened and Yamazaki came out. He looked dead straight to my eyes after seeing one boy resting his legs on the table while eating Monday special, and one girl wouldn't let go of my hand. His seriousness killed me. I gently asked Yamazaki– "Can I go home?"
He turned his head left to right and disagreed. He nodded while claiming– "We have a meeting." Left with a smile on his mouth. Then another office girl came in, stopped to look at me– "A wife and a kid? Boy, this office is gonna celebrate." It was Watanabe. She jokingly glared and went to her seat.

A moment later…
We all gathered inside a meeting room. The office clerk sat on the table while Yoko and big brother sat beside each other. Though they still held hands… Kinda irritates me now.. Then the previous guy who came to the house stood up– "Alright!" But quickly glare at me and Yoko. "Why are they inside again?" He seems confused and I am confused too. The woman spoke up, whoever she was.. "I invite them! I thought it would be lonely to leave the little boy outside alone." She wink at me while saying it. I got a weird vibe with that woman. The way she looks at me is weird.. The man spoke– "I see.." He looked at me for confirmation.
Then the meeting starts… They start discussing stuff that barely enters my head. But the weird part of this meeting is that every single time when there is a decision to make, he looks at big brother before deciding. It's he not the boss?
Then big brother gave a comment– "Guys, I think paying for the Tv program to showcase the cafe below is really worth it!" He seemed enthusiastic about it. But then the girl from before said something– "It is not you who bribes them?" Suddenly a murmur came from Big brother– "Ugh." He seems to be a critical hit. Then suddenly he shoved the boss– "Our bossu who recommend it to me! I'm just doing my job!!" The boss seems to be in a serious facade but yet his personality is just awkward.. "Err… Me?? Ahh.." The boss murmurs…
Everything ended as they decided the conclusion: the bribing really worked.
At the end big brother was given permission to leave early after he whispered something to the boss' ear… Just who the heck is big brother… We walked home together, but suddenly my sister said something– "Ah? I just remember. There is highschool girl who wanted to meet me after school." We stopped walking as there was something on hand.
Brother responded– "Oh you not gonna meet her?"
Yoko answered– "Mm no… I don't really care about strangers."
Brother asked– "Stranger? Why does she want to meet you? What did you do?"
Yoko utter– "Mm.. Oh yeah! She pulled me out of the road! Oh did you know? I almost got hit by a vehicle!" Did she just say that like a joke.. But brother shook his head in disappointment to tell her– "If she saves your life, then go meet her!"
In the end I left myself no choice but to abandon them alone in the street arguing whether to meet or not. There is Tv program I need to watch and I'm ain't skipping it. See you later if you can hear it because I'm not waving or saying anything.
