Carole,  who is married to Aston Albrecht, the billionaire heir of a big company, was betrayed by her best friend. At first she didn’t want to believe what was happening until she witnessed it with her own eyes.

Her eyes widened as soon as she saw the lady enter her salon. She couldn't believe that after a long time of not seeing her friend, she finally got the time to show up. She welcomed the lady with a big and warm hug.

"It's been ages!" Ava said. "How are you?"

Carole felt shy because Ava left her customer just to greet her. She looked around and smiled at them to lessen the awkward moment.

"You don't need to leave your customers to greet me," Carole whispered to Ava as they walked to sit down on the sofa.

"It's fine, if I acted like that then a VIP customer just walked in," Ava said while laughing. "How is your husband?" she asked.

This question made Carole freeze. She didn't want that topic and she had no time to tell Ava the whole story about witnessing her husband cheating with her best friend, Natalie.

"Anyway, do you have a lot of customers today?" She asked, completely diverting the topic.
