David stared at Gabriela, clenching his fist even more tightly before he said coldly, "Yes..."
If someone had asked David the same question before he met Hania, he would think that the other party was crazy. He would refuse to answer the question simply because it was too ridiculous. How could it possible to draw a comparison between the value of his life and the others'?
But at this very moment, he could not refute Gabriela's question.
Hania's life was more important than his life. Besides, she was pregnant with his baby.
With tears streaming down her cheeks, Gabriel looked extremely piteous.
It was her dream for David to accept her, but she didn't expect Hania could do it so easily.
On what grounds could she have done that?
Gabriela had nothing left but David.
Shaking her head, Gabriela couldn't help but touch David's wrist with her palm while struggling to get up from the bed. However, she saw David taking a step back and withdrawing his hand.
