The Hitson family

Madam Hitson flinched at her husband's demand. This was the first time he would raise his voice on her and she nearly jumped off the couch at his yell.

''Dear....'' She still struggled to respond to his words, but she was aware that keeping silent would only make her husband angrier.

''Why are yelling at mother, father?" Madam Hitson watched as her daughter entered the parlor, glaring pointedly at her husband.

She suddenly had a bad feeling at Lilian's appearance.

Her husband looked at their daughter for a while.

''Lilian....I heard that you....''

''If you're asking if I offended President Kingston, then you're wrong, father.'' Lilian did not wait for her father to complete his words. ''I was merely correcting her basic etiquettes of courtesy.''
