ANNA'S VIEW
I was all alone at the house. The staff went back to their quarters. The cook made me a pot roast for dinner and left it in the oven before retiring early. I couldn't have them hold my hands. There were a ton of securities guarding the premises, making it impossible for anyone to enter, yet I was still afraid. My chest felt tighter than it was before, and I could feel it race, like I was already being attacked. I reminisced about the terror that I felt when Drenmore attacked me. Those ugly memories resurfaced, and I was back to feeling unsafe and looking over my shoulder.
