The Second Attribute

Time flew by.

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

"Hadō #11, Tsuzuri Raiden!" Saikyō's voice echoed, resonating throughout the area.

His entire body was enveloped in a brilliant electric current, making him look like a walking thunderbolt.

Crackle—

The sound of roaring thunder filled the air.

The ground beneath Saikyō's feet was scorched and cracked by the intense lightning, creating visible fissures that spread like a spiderweb.

"Mr. Urahara, I've fully mastered the Eleventh Hadō. Not bad, right?" Under the flickering light of the electricity, Saikyō's face looked extraordinarily confident.

"Incredible!"

"Brother Saikyō, how do you manage to perfect every Kidō spell so quickly?" Urahara Kisuke exclaimed.

He was sitting on a stone step nearby, his face adorned with a look of surprise.

Before meeting Saikyō, few people could impress Urahara with their imagination and creativity. Kurotsuchi Mayuri, imprisoned in the "Maggot's Nest," was one of the rare exceptions.

But now...

Saikyō's name was added to that short list!

Urahara Kisuke had never imagined that a young man, who had trained for less than a month, could possess such exceptional talent in Kidō.

It even made him feel a little embarrassed.

He admitted to himself that if he had to train to this extent, he wouldn't be able to achieve what Saikyō had done.

It was no wonder he felt so shocked!

"Mr. Urahara, it's thanks to your careful guidance that I've been able to learn new Kidō spells so quickly." Despite the praise, Saikyō remained humble and eager to learn more.

With the "Unlimited Skill Points" system, the only thing holding him back from growing stronger was not having enough skills to practice.

So, when Urahara Kisuke proposed a training plan, they immediately agreed, and the special training began in an organized manner.

In just three days, Saikyō had mastered several types of Kidō.

This was why the scene they just witnessed had occurred.

"Brother Saikyō, there's no need for all these formalities between us. I didn't do much at all," Urahara Kisuke said plainly.

"Mr. Urahara, you really are different from others." Saikyō spread his hands in a helpless gesture.

Most people would exchange some polite words, but the shopkeeper was straightforward, not concerned with conventions or formalities.

It caught Saikyō by surprise.

"Oh, hehehe, Brother Saikyō, wearing a fake smile all the time would be boring, wouldn't it?"

Urahara Kisuke had always been candid. Compared to the strict rules of the Seireitei and the complex social interactions in everyday life, he preferred delving into scientific experiments.

His frankness was one of his most charming traits.

"Alright, now that you've mastered Tsuzuri Raiden, let's move on to the next Hadō." Urahara Kisuke walked down the stone steps and approached Saikyō.

"Hadō #12, Fushibi. You're not too familiar with this one, are you?" Urahara Kisuke asked.

"Not particularly."

Saikyō nodded, though a strange light flickered in his eyes.

Fushibi, as the name suggested, was a fire-based Kidō.

Which meant…

Once he mastered this spell, he would awaken the fire attribute!

"Mr. Urahara, let's start right away. I'm ready!" Saikyō's eyes burned with enthusiasm, eager to get started.

Fire-based Zanpakutō held a special place in the history of the Soul Society.

The most famous of all was the fire-based Zanpakutō wielded by Captain Yamamoto, Ryūjin Jakka, known as the "strongest."

Ryūjin Jakka didn't need much introduction; it embodied the power of fire to its fullest and was the most destructive Zanpakutō.

The significance of the fire attribute was self-evident.

Naturally, Saikyō was eager to realize this potential.

"The principle behind Fushibi is straightforward. The key is to linearize your Reiatsu, then capture and attack the enemy," Urahara Kisuke explained briefly.

Then, under Saikyō's watchful gaze, he cast the spell without incantation.

"Hadō #12, Fushibi!"

With Urahara Kisuke's command, thin lines of flaming Reiatsu spread out, raising the surrounding temperature by several degrees.

"Did you catch that? Now, you can start practicing. I'll assist you during training." Urahara Kisuke reminded him and then returned to the stone steps to observe.

"Let me give it a try!"

Saikyō recalled the explanation and imitated Urahara Kisuke's movements.

He began practicing over and over again.

————

Time passed quickly.

The afternoon was gone in the blink of an eye.

"Ding!"

"Congratulations to the Host, Fushibi's level has been raised to LV2!"

"Congratulations to the Host, Fushibi's level has been raised to LV3!"

"Congratulations to the Host, Fushibi's level has been raised to LV4!"

"Congratulations to the Host, Fushibi's level has been raised to LV99!"

...

System notifications chimed continuously.

After an afternoon of practice, under Urahara Kisuke's guidance, Saikyō effortlessly mastered the spell and maxed it out in one go.

"Ding!"

"Congratulations to the Host, you have gained an additional talent: Fire Affinity!"

Just as expected.

After leveling Fushibi to the maximum, an additional talent was awakened.

Shortly after gaining the thunder attribute, Saikyō had now mastered another attribute!

Name: Shihōin Saikyō

...

His status panel now had a fresh new look.

In addition to the changes in skills and talents, Saikyō's attributes had also slightly increased, significantly boosting his overall strength.

Considering it had only been a few days of training, the results were astonishing. It was hard to imagine how much he would improve in three months.

By then…

He wouldn't just pass the entrance exam; he could crush his peers and even surpass some of the senior students.

"Brother Saikyō, it's almost time. Demonstrate Fushibi one last time, and then we'll conclude today's training," Urahara Kisuke said from his spot on the stone steps.

"Mr. Urahara, I hope you're ready for a surprise."

Saikyō said confidently.

He could already picture Urahara Kisuke's reaction after witnessing a max-level Fushibi!
