attacking a convoy

I groan slowly waking up from the deep sleep. I tap on the side of the bed and groan as I don't feel Sabine. My eyes open quickly as I look around the room and not see either her or her armour. I sigh as I slowly sit up my body feeling much better than what I was before I fell asleep. I look at my armour sitting on the wall. I stretch cracking my back before I move to the door as it opens without me hitting the button. I look around seeing no one around. My eyes move to the closed door to the cockpit as I walk to the door and into the room and looking out over the space and lothal sitting below us.

"Ah sleeping beauty if finally awake." I look over at Kannan as he sits in the secondary seat and smile as I nod looking over at Hera sitting at the controls. 

"You really slept for a long time. You feeling okay?" I nod as I sit in one of the back seats looking out the window into the vastness of space. 

"How long was I out feels like I was out for a long time." Kannan laughs lightly and Hera just smiles and shakes his head softly.

"Man you have been out for ages. If we didn't know that you were exhausted from whatever happened in the temple we would have taken you to a hospital or something" I just stare at Kannan waiting for him to actually answer and give me a number of days that I have been out. 

"Don't mind him he is a little worried for Ezra and the mission he is on. you have been out for the last week." My eyes widen as I slowly agree with Kannan and feel a little surprised that they did not take me to a hospital with how long I was out. Then my mind turns back towards the other words that Hera said with Ezra being on a mission. 

"What's the mission?" I ask as I lean back in the chair continuing to look out over the planet. 

"There is a shipment of Kyber crystals being transported by the empire. Ezra's mission is to grab the movement intel of the transport ship so he is infiltrating the cadet program to get it." I smile and nod at Hera's words understanding the importance of the mission and that if the empire gets those crystals than they can do some very bad things with them. 

"How much longer till he gets the data?" I ask as I stare out the window into the vastness of space. 

"Well there was some kind complication and he should be getting the information at some point today." I nod as she continues talking. "Sadly there is no way for us to send you down so you are with us when we attack the convoy." 

I smile and nod standing and walking out of the cockpit and toward my room as I quickly put my armour on. My hand holds onto the wall as the ship turns sharply. I groan as I quickly move out of the room and back to the cockpit as I see the ship is now in Hyperspace.

"Come in Spectre 5 come in spectre 5." Kannan yells into the comm.

"Kannan we are out of range. There is nothing we can do but finish our part of the mission." I walk inside and they both look at me and look down a little sad. 

"Um what is going on?" I say as I sit on the same seat I was sitting on before. 

"Ezra is still inside the academy for some reason. no clue why." Hera's are tinged with worry as she looks out of the passing lights of hyperspace.

"Well not like we can do anything but wait until after the mission." Kannan sighs but nods as he turns away from me and back to the open window. "So what is the plan for attacking the convoy?" 

Kannan and Hera both start speaking as as we all discuss the plan of action. Over the next 30min as we are about to exit Hyperspace. I will be in the top gun, Hera in the cockpit and Kannan will be in the phantom leading the ties away. 

"Everyone ready?" Hera says over the com as both me and Kannan give the affirmative. "Also how the hell will either of you know which transport will have the Kyber crystal?"

"It resonates with the force so we should be able to sense it." My words are strong and resolute as I activate the top gun ready for battle. Kannan agrees as we exit hyperspace. I raise my hand and open my self to the force and feel the energy radiating off of the three ship. I breath deeply as I feel an energy I have only felt from the crystal still sitting in my bedroom. 

"The middle one." Both me and Kannan speak at the same time.

"Are you both sure?" We both give the confirmation as Kannan flies the phantom out of the ghost and move through space drawing all the ties away. I smirk as all the ties disconnect from the transports and chase after the phantom. 

"Okay you two are clear to move in on the transport ship." I smile as we move fast dodging most of the shots with one or two hitting. I smirk readying the blasters as I aim them toward the middle ship. I smirk widens as I ready to fire waiting for Hera's signal. 

"Hit it Alex!" Hera's words signal me to pull the trigger as I open fire on the ship causing it to glow before beginning to implode slowly. "Get back here now Kannan that ship is about to explode in big way." 

"I know I am on my way." Kannan quickly moves sliding into the pocket before Hera moves us into hyperspace. I sigh in relief as I exit the turret moving down to the middle of the ship. I quickly wave at Kannan before moving into my room and sighing before sitting on my bed. I quickly grab the Kyber crystal and open the store tab.

I quickly open the weapons section and look through the weapon section till I find Kall kestis's lightsaber and groan slightly as I see the price tag. 

Kal Kestis Lightsaber: 4000 credits

I groan realising how long it is going to be before I am able to use a lightsaber. I can't even build one myself as their are no parts on the ship and I have no clue how to make one.

"Great I guess I am not getting a lightsaber for a fair while." I place the Kyber crystal on the bedside table and lay back on the bed and try to figure out what to do next.
