Chapter 32: Change

Nadia's POV

Was I in shock?

I must be. Because a man had just pointed a gun at me and Ethan, and yet all I could think about was the three girls that were wrapped around him like snakes.

"Woah, dude," Jasper said, and I turned to see that he looked just as baffled as me.

"Oh, sorry," Ethan said, detangling himself from the girls. However, he didn't step away. He simply wrapped an arm around each of the two new girls and smiled at us. "How rude of me. These are my girlfriends, Tammy and Chloe."

"Girlfiends?" I couldn't help but notice the plural.

"Yes, we are both his girlfriends," Tammy or Chloe, I wasn't sure, said with a roll of their eyes. "This isn't the twentieth century anymore."

"Yeah, monogamy is so old school," said the other with a teasing smile.
