“Yes, because currently we don’t have any clues to investigate.” Ronald was also helpless.
Jake put the photo aside and said while watching Ronald, “What is in her bag that is worth grabbing?”
Ronald shook his head, “I don’t know.”
Jake lowered his eyelids and said nothing.
After a while, he squeezed the bridge of his nose wearily, “Go to tell Mara to prepare a set of clothes for me. Send it here tomorrow morning.”
“Okay.” Ronald responded and turned to leave.
That night, Jake accompanied Aria in the ward for a night.
He didn’t leave until a phone call came the next morning.
Soon after he left, Aria woke up.
Hearing the sound, Mara walked quickly to the edge of the hospital bed and looked at her in surprise “Mara?” Aria blinked, “Why are you here?” she sat up with her body propped up.
Mara handed her a glass of water, “Sir Jake asked me to take care of you.”
“Sir Jake?” Aria looked around with the water glass in her hand, “Where is he?”
