Jake’s eyes flickered slightly.
He wanted to say that he believed that Aria didn’t push Jamila. After all, with her character, she didn’t seem to be that kind of people who would do such a thing.
But when they came in, Jamila did fall to the ground, and Aria indeed looked like that she was pushing her, so he couldn’t make a conclusion.
Seeing Jake’s delay in uttering a sound, Aria felt sad. Her eyes dimmed. There was a mockery in her eyes.
It seemed that in his heart, Jamila was more trustworthy than her, his wife.
“Since Aria said that she didn’t push me, just forget it. It doesn’t matter.” Jamila waved her hand, with a bitter smile on her face, “After all, I said something wrong and mentioned his mother that’s why she was so angry that she… Anyway, it’s all my fault. Jake, don’t blame her.” With that, she pulled the sleeves of Jake.
Jake remembered that he promised Aria last time. He raised his arm and pulled the sleeves out. “What did you just say about her mother?”
