It was time for dinner.
Because of Jamila, the two children were not as lively as usual.
Aria didn’t know what to say, so she also kept silent.
So the atmosphere in the huge dining room was very strange and depressing.
In the end, Jamila took the initiative to speak, breaking the silence.
She looked at Aria’s neck, “Didn’t you wear the pendant I gave you?”
“I threw it away.” Aria took a sip of the soup and replied directly.
Jamila pretended to be shocked, “You threw it away?”
“Yes.” Aria nodded.
Jamila bit her lip, looking sad, “Why? Is it because I gave it to you?”
Aria put down her utensil and wanted to say something.
But Jamila said again, “Don’t you think you’ve gone too far? I kindly gave you a gift. How could you just throw it away?”
Listening to Jamila’s questioning, Aria crossed her arms on her chest and looked at her with a smile, “The gift is not good. Why can’t I throw it away?”
