Aria decided to call Calvin later to make an appointment for him to diagnose her.
After an unknown amount of time, the water in the bathtub cooled down, Aria stood up, she took the bath towel on a side shelf and wrapped it around her, and then walked out of the room.
Jake was gone.
Her eyelids dropped, hiding the disappointment in her eyes, and she smiled to herself, “He left in such a hurry.”
She told him to go, and he did.
Aria walked over to the bed and saw the divorce agreement that had been torn into pieces on the floor. She pursed her lips. She could only go get more copies.
She sighed and squatted down, picking up the pieces on the ground.
At that moment there was a knock on the door, “Mrs. Thomson, come out to dinner.”
“Okay.” Aria answered and then went to the cloakroom to change her clothes.
After changing, she came downstairs to the dining room and was surprised to see the sumptuous meal on the table, “Mara, do we have an occasion?”
