Miguel looked up at him, with annoyance and sadness on his face, “How am I supposed to get over there? Can’t you see Jamila doesn’t really want me by her side? I’ve been here for so long, and she hasn’t brought me to meet Mr. Colin.”
Jake frowned, “So what do you plan to do?”
Miguel took a sip of his wine, “Honestly, I don’t know how much longer I can hold out.”
“What do you mean?” Jake looked at him.
Miguel smiled bitterly, “Actually, I always knew that Jamila doesn’t love me, originally I thought that after we dated, I would slowly touch her, but after so long, it hasn’t worked at all. She sees and eats with me every day, but in fact, it is always me asks her out and she is still cold to me.”
Jake was silent.
It was only then that he realized that was how Miguel and Jamila got along. They did not like lovers at all.
“So, you’re ready to break up with her?” Jake asked, shaking his glass.
