Looking at the deflected table, Miguel knew that his best friend had real anger, and he answered honestly, “Jamila has already left.”
“Left?” Jake looked at him without a trace of emotion.
Miguel bowed his head, “Yes, I was the one who let her go. She left alone after she came out of the villa, and now even I don’t know where she’s gone.”
“You don’t know either.” Jake was exasperated, “I want to know why you’re doing this?!”
“It was Jamila who contacted me and asked me to save her, if I hadn’t agreed, she might have committed suicide again, and you know, with her extreme nature, she’d have done it.” Miguel looked at him.
Jake snorted coldly, “I can’t deny that she could do something to kill herself, but I’ve removed all the dangerous things from her room, so she couldn’t kill herself at all.”
“That’s true, but if she wants to die, she has a thousand ways to get herself killed.” Miguel said.
