“Mommy, is there something wrong?” Shane asked as he plopped down on Jake’s lap and pretended to yawn.
Aria listened to her son’s tender and sleepy voice and with a smile, “No, I just miss you.”
“I’m sorry, Mommy, daddy isn’t free this weekend, that’s why he can’t take us to you.” Shane apologized.
Aria’s heart warmed, “It’s okay.”
“Then Mommy, I will talk to you next time okay, I want to sleep too.” Said Shane, yawning again.
He was afraid that if he said any more, he’d be in trouble if Mommy wanted to have a video chat.
Aria nodded at that “Okay, then I won’t bother you, go to sleep.”
“Bye, Mommy!” Shane said goodbye.
Aria nodded, “Bye. Goodnight.”
The call ended and Shane handed the phone back to Mara.
Suddenly, a sharp footstep came from the distance.
Immediately afterwards, Miguel in a white lab coat appeared, “What happened to Shane and Sasha?”
Jake handed Shane to Bella and stood up, then gave Miguel a quick punch.
