“What brings you here?” When the man approached, Aria looked up at him and asked.

Jake gave a smile, “I went to your company to pick you up, but you weren’t there and I couldn’t reach you, so I had Shane check your current location based on your number, and I didn’t expect you to come here.”

“Sorry, there’s a signal block here, so the calls can’t come in.” Aria took out her phone and said embarrassedly.

He lifted his chin, “That’s fine, so you’re here to see Rachel?”

“Well, she wanted to see me, so I made a trip over here.” Aria nodded.

“Are you finished?” Jake asked again.

Aria nodded.

Jake didn’t ask what she had told Rachel, nor was he interested. He wrapped his arm around her waist, about to walk towards the car.

Betty suddenly called out to the two of them, “Mr. Thomson, Aria, I won’t go with you guys, I won’t bother you.”

Jake just nodded.

Aria saw it and laughed, then took the car key out of her bag and threw it over to Betty, “Take my car and go back.”
