Thinking that she had been brought in because of the severe pain in her belly after being stimulated by Jake’s disappearance, Aria hurriedly felt towards her belly.

Touching her belly, which should have been bulging, but was now flat, she panicked and her heart sank even lower.

“W-Where’s my baby? Where’s my baby!” Aria propped herself up.

Yet with such a movement, a sharp pain came from her belly.

And the pain made her realize that her baby was really gone!

Aria’s movement woke up Charlene, who was asleep on the ward’s sofa.
