Listening to the happy cheers of the two children, as well as the applause of Mara and Betty’s blessing, Aria was moved and her heart seemed to be filled with warmth.
“Alright, get up.” Aria then remembered that Jake was still kneeling on one knee, she pulled him up.
Jake got up and sat back where he had just been.
Betty asked at this point, “So, Mr. Thomson, when will the grand wedding be held?”
Mara nodding her head as well.
Aria looked at Jake, obviously curious as well, as to which day he intended to schedule.
Jake picked up a glass of red wine and took a sip, smiling, “At the end of this month, I’ve asked my administrator to arrange the wedding site.”
“At the end of the month?” Aria was slightly surprised, it was already the twentieth day of that month, which meant that in ten days at most, their wedding would be held.
Mara frowned, “Mr. Thomson, would that be too much of a rush?”
“Yes.” Betty also felt that the time was too rushed.
