When she passed the presidential suite next door, Aria’s pace slowed down a bit on purpose, looking at the room door for a few moments before resuming her normal pace and entering the elevator.
She didn’t know if Betty had left yet, or she was still at Lucas’s place.
Just thinking about it, the elevator door opened.
Aria lifted her feet and walked in, and the four bodyguards, carrying her luggage, followed her in.
Soon, Aria was on the car heading to the airport, and she took out her phone and dialed Jake’s number.
Jake picked up, “You are back?”
He heard the sound of a car coming from her side.
“Yes.” Aria nodded, “I am on the way to the airport, I’ll arrive at Golden City Airport around four o’clock in the afternoon.”
Betty’s home was actually not too far from Golden City, and it was only two hours by plane.
Jake lifted his chin slightly and answered, “Okay, I’ll wait for you at Golden City Airport.”
“Sure. Thanks, love.” Violet responded with a smile.
