“That’s true.” Mara nodded.
Then thought of something else, she hurriedly commanded Stanley, “Sir, take Ma’am Aria into the house, it is so cold outside.”
Jake nodded, and then carried Aria into the house.
When Aria woke up, it was already nine o’clock in the evening.
She opened her eyes to see the familiar ceiling and raised a hand to rub her temples.
When did she get back?
Aria propped herself up and sat up.
The light in the room was on and she looked around, only to see the man on the balcony, his back to her, and opened her mouth to call out, “Jake...”
Outside on the balcony, the man heard her and turned around in a hurry to meet her gaze, “Are you okay?”
Aria nodded her head.
Jake walked in with a glass of red wine, “Are you hungry?”
She rubbed her belly, “Yes, a little.”
“I’ll have Mara bring up dinner.”
With that, he put down his glass of red wine, took out his cell phone and made a call out.
