He didn't show it though, and after seeing Matthew, he let go of Judy and went to chat with Matthew.
Judy sighed in relief then and brought a glass of juice to Serena, "You're in good spirits."
Serena smiled and looked up and around.
It was obvious that Blair had put a lot of thought into it, "Did Blair prepare all this? I didn't realize he was so attentive for a big old man."
Judy lowered her eyes, some sarcasm at the corner of her mouth, "Serena, are you going to ask me next if I'm even remotely touched by all he's done?"
Serena didn't say anything, she did want to ask that.
"If I hadn't met him, I would be married to my own fiancé, and probably have a child by now, he was the one who used his privilege to force his way into my world, and threatened to use my fiancé's life, to threaten me to stay with him, Serena, if it was you, would you be touched?"
Serena instantly thought of Maxwell, a man who talked about love but had no idea what love was.
