"Honey, want to be here?"
Matthew's voice was instantly muffled, as much as he wanted to, Nathan was still standing behind them.
Serena gave him a blank look, cradled the roses in her arms, and went into the living room.
Matthew bumbled after her.
"Why did you suddenly remember to buy flowers?"
She took a glass vase and carefully opened the wrapped bouquet, pulling a few out and placing them in the vase.
Matthew's eyes instantly soured at the sight of this care, a sourness he couldn't quite put his finger on.
Puzzled, he felt to where his chest was, his lips losing color from the pain.
It hurt, in his heart and in his head.
He leaned back and fainted straight away.
The flowers in Serena's hand instantly fell to the ground, and she rushed the man to the hospital in fear.
Was he irritated? Did she do something to hurt him?
But everything she did was normal, what part of him was stimulated?
After taking the person to the hospital, the doctor examined Matthew.
