"Mercenary? That's what you want to be?" Selene looked at Leon, clearly surprised by his response.

Leon smirked, shaking his head. "I'm not here to play politics. I'm here to enjoy my time leveling up, grinding, and getting stronger—without getting caught up in your endless guild battles and scheming nonsense."

The masked recruiter from Eclipse Covenant narrowed his eyes. "So you wish to remain independent?"

Leon leaned back, stretching his arms lazily.

"Mercenary sounds like the best path for me, don't you think?" His golden eyes glinted. "That way, you can come to me whenever you need help, but I won't be tied down by guild rules or pointless bureaucracy."
