Liam's teasing

"So how was the party?" Maggie asked wiping the plate in her hand. They just finished having dinner and were currently washing the dishes.

"It was okay," Val shrugged. "I got a job offer from my former course mate," she adding handing Maggie another cup.

"That sounds like more than okay to me," Maggie felt like Val's reaction wasn't right, she obviously got what she wanted but why was she not excited?

"The school is in K town," Val said. She was still unsure of whether to go or not.

"K town? That's far,"

"I know, it's also inconvenient for Adam but if I don't get another place, then I might have to take that offer." Val was feeling stressed and pressured.  If she was to take the job then she will need someone to take care of Adam. Maggie was going back to school in two weeks time so she was out of the picture. Besides her, she couldn't think of anyone else.

"Oh and Adam, I met Kelly's uncle," she said to the little guy. He was in the sitting room watching an animation.

"You met Kelly?" Adam's excited voice chipped in. He somehow managed to appear in the kitchen without them noticing. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"I said Kelly's uncle, not Kelly," Val rolled her eyes at her brother.

"Oh," Adam pouted disappointedly.

"Well good news for you, he said he'll bring Kelly over on Saturday."

"Really? That's great," Adam said excitedly. Val was surprised, they had only met twice wasn't his excitement a bit exaggerated?

"Okay, you go to bed now you have school tomorrow," she told him, gently pushing him out of the kitchen.

Val decided to take Jake's offer to work in his school after a couple of failed attempts to find a suitable school in M City. Over the week, she visited a few more schools and two of the school needed a teacher of her qualifications. She would have said she was lucky but the salary they were going to pay her was too low.

So she'd decided to take Jake's offer for two reasons. One, he was going to give a relatively good salary and two, she planned to take a loan from him so that he could directly deduct from her salary. She still didn't know what to do with Adam, best case scenario is that she will transfer him to another school closer to her work place.

"Do you want some juice?" She asked the man sitting opposite her. It was already Saturday and as promised, Liam brought Kelly over. They had been here for about an hour and Kelly and Adam were riding riding bikes outside. Apparently, Kelly is good at riding and Adam wanted to learn from him.

"Yeah, orange flavored," Liam said looking up from his phone.

Val stood up and went to the kitchen to get the juice. After taking the juice from the fridge, she tried reaching for the glasses at the top shelf.

"Let me," warm air splayed on her neck as Liam reached for the glasses. He was closely standing behind her, so close that her whole body was plastered on his. She could feel his arousal poking her butt through her dress.

Her body naturally reacted to him. Her heart started beating so fast that she thought it would fly out of her chest. Goosebumps rose all over her skin and she could feel heat pulling up in between her legs. "Fuck," she silently cursed, eyes closing involuntarily. She hated and liked this feeling at the same time.

After an eternity, Liam finally pulled away after taking the glasses. She immediately turned around, pretending as if nothing happened.

"Here are the glasses, do you need something else?" Liam asked innocently making Val believe that what happened wasn't intentional.

"No, let's go," she replied walking away from the kitchen.

Liam smirked. He knew that she was trying to avoid him but he was okay with it. He had a lot of time to play with her. Besides he felt that it was better to take it slow as his own life was a bit messy. If he was to bring her home now, she will have to deal with his grandmother and Flora. Thinking of his own personal life, he sighed, it seems like it was time he made some drastic moves.

"So what do you do when you're not in the shop?" Liam asked Val once they were sitted. Although they had met a couple of times, they still didn't know much about each other.

"I'm going to be a teacher soon," she answered.

"You recently graduated?" Liam asked again. She indeed looked young.

"Yeah, a month ago, what about you? What do you do?" She asked him.

"A lot of things but mostly taking care of my grandmother," externally, people knew that his grandmother was the matriarch of their family so following her around can be considered babysitting right?

Val laughed at that, "babysitting your grandma? Then who's taking care of her right now."

"She likes having me around to run her errands but she has other people taking care of her for now." Thinking of the person taking care of his grandmother, Liam felt annoyed. He hoped that his grandmother won't be brainwashed by her otherwise things won't go as he planned.

"And where are your parents?" Since they got here, he hadn't seen anyone else besides Adam and Val.

Coincidentally, Maggie had gone out.  "My mom died like a month ago, dad's in hospital," Val calmly explained.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry," Liam felt bad, the girl was still mourning and yet here he was, bothering her.

"It's okay and you guys are a good source of distraction," she was being truthful. Having Liam and Kelly around helps in distracting them from all their current problems. Being alone just made them feel more lonely.

"Okay then I'll try to do a better job in distracting you," Liam smirked watching her. Before she could understand the meaning behind his words, he was already on top of her, his fingers in her armpits.

"No, no, not this kind of distraction," Val shouted trying to push him away but her efforts were in vain.

Ignoring her, Liam tickled her watching Val laugh so hard that her ribs were beginning to hurt.

He stared at her, closely checking out her features. Her chest was heaving up and down, her big brown eyes glistening with tears. Soft pants were coming out of her slightly parted fleshy lips. It made him want to lower his lips to lick them. Looking back up at her eyes, he found her staring at him waiting, was she waiting for him to take that step?

Pulling away, he stood up and sat at his previous place. "Distracted now?" He asked her smirking. She couldn't even meet his eyes. He chuckled, was his little woman shy?

"I'll go make lunch," Val said ignoring Liam, he was obviously teasing her.

"Need some help?" He asked still smiling.

"No, thanks," it seems like she always gave him reasons to laugh at her. Wanting to escape, she stood up and went to the kitchen.

Liam, not taking no for an answer followed her. He suddenly asked, " why don't you teach Kelly?"
