When rising sun awakened slumber lawn,
and watched the whole panorama of dawn,
sunshine kissed daffodils on petal lips,
whose lips bedewed sweet dew dropped on bladetips.
Outside window where daffodils in town,
there was fragrance dispersed over downtown,
in gentle wind drifted through fingertips,
toward flowers ocean filled with tulips.
When gentle wind stirred waving cloud ocean,
and set westering sun fell on mountain,
the orange clouds stained sundown in twilight,
fading color, when day came into night.
The daffodils blossomed in gentle wind,
and reminded familiar face in mind.
