What's lovesickness, I wondered in autumn

By: Amoureax Amant

What's lovesickness, I wondered in autumn,

it's autumn leaves, too yellow for mountain,

it's osmanthus, too fragrant for couple,

it's poison wedged in bones inside people.

What's love, I inquired quiet heaven,

it's autumn water, too deep in ocean,

it's an incense, too tranquil in temple,

it's a red leaf, too shinning in maple.

I picked up a red leaf like old picture,

laying red leaf in palm, counting texture,

each texture was wrinkle of lovesickness,

each red leaf was ripple of happiness.

Thousands of leaves condensed red maple grove,

each red leaf contained lovesickness and love.
