Chapter 13 : Delta The Mountain Lion

THE KING'S CHAMBERLAIN

"Your Highness!!!." Kai yelled as he rushed in.

Charles who just finished dressing up in his Royal attire turned to Kai with a huge frown on his already Grumpy face.

"What is it Kai!". Charles growled.

Kai quickly went on one knee. " Your Highness... It's Delta... Delta has Gone Beserk again?".

"Delta?!". Charles eye widen.... "Hope he didn't hurt anybody?!.

"It pounce on anyone it sees... He's gone uncontrollable... Some of the Guards have lost their lives!".

Charles didn't wait for him to finish Whatever he was saying. He quickly rush out.... "Delta... Gosh no.. not today Please???". Charles grumbled frustratingly as he rushed towards the scene.

The whole Dynasty was suddenly silent.

No single soul luckering around. They all flew for safety,, hiding from the Scary Mountain Lion. You can hear the distant roaring of The Beserk Mountain Lion.

"DELTA!!!". Charles yelled it's name from afar.

The Animal Growled as he chew the meat of an unlucky Human.

"DELTA..." Charles swallowed as he stare at the disgusting scene. He palmed his head frustratingly. "Gaddd... This is a total Fuck up!". He mumbled .

"Delta!." Charles called after he took a deep breath. He immediately created a Link between the both. "What's wrong with you!". Charles yelled at him.

"Stay Away from Me... Charles!". Delta Growled in Uttered disgust and Hunger.

"This isn't what we discussed about...."

"You planned to starve me to death Charles!!". Delta Growled . "What other discussion did we... Have in common??". Delta Asked with a Huge Snort. As He walked Elegantly like the lion King it is.

Kai watched the silent reaction from the King and the Royal Beast. He stood fearlessly beside king Charles. Not like he ain't scared.

Deep down,,he's scared to the brim but he dare not show it off. He's meant to Be beside the king since Tiger is being send on an Errand.

"I'm sorry...." Charles mumbled in sincerity.

"Be sorry for yourself... CHARLES!.. That's why no one wants to be anywhere close to you. A hopeless King ruling just to be respected... No child... No staff.. No robe... All you do is to scare people away from you!!!.

"ENOUGH!!!. Delta". Charles spoked Calmly.

Though he's pissed at his statement.

Delta Chuckled and flagged its tail as he took a slow but predatory stroll toward Charles.

"You wanna Fight me... Huh???. Like you can able to slaughter me if you're given the chance???... Hahaha.. Charles you can't do that.. I'm 100 of years old. And a Mere kid like you can't even lay a Finger on my skin". Delta Castigated,,making sure that he's statement infuriate Charles the More.

Charles ignored the Animal. He took he's words a Mere Joke. Delta not getting any answer from Charles chuckled as he's gaze land on kai.

"Who's this Fresh Meat standing beside you.". Delta Asked as he walked round Kai who was as stiff as a dead man.

"Stay Away from Him Delta!". Charles Uttered.

But the Animal Perceived a Tingling scent from Kai's Body. He sniffed and sniffed and sniffed again. Kai was also confused Why was the Mountain lion sniffing so Badly on him..

Delta immediately rebuffed him with a deep scary Growl... Almost shocking the young man to that. "Correct Him Charles... My Name is Delta!... I'm not a Mountain Lion!".. Delta snarled as he stare at Kai.. Kai's hand held tight on his sword.

Charles breath out in frustration... "He's name.is Delta Kai... And stop calling him a Mountain Lion.". Charles corrected..

"I'm sorry your Highness..."

"I'm sorry Delta!". Kai Apologise at a Go.

Delta nodded in response and resume sniffing Kai. He stopped and stare at Kai suspiciously...

Charles was also Concerned... "Any problem???."

"I Perceive something from this Meat... " Delta uttered and sniffed him again and again.

Kai shifted uncomfortably...

"Delta... Stop it you're scaring him". Charles screamed through their Mind link.

"I Perceive a Scent... An unborn child Scent... The blood.. it's so intriguing... The blood Charles..." He paused. And narrowed his eye

"Ask him.. who's that woman that he's always with.".

"Which woman???". Charles asked in confusion. "Which blood that intrigued you... What are you Talk.....

"Ask him you FOOL!! And stop questioning me!. Delta snapped...

Charles immediately turned to Kai. "He's asking.. who's the woman that you're always with!?". Charles Questioned with a Raised brow.

Kai was utterly confused.. "I don't stay with any woman." Kai answered truthfully.

"Lies!!!... Their is this particular scent that eminates from him.. just that it's fading.. Question the fool.. he needs to tell us this!".

"Are you lying to Me Kai???"

"Your Majesty!" Kai answered in confusion...

"I talk to Many women....

Charles signed and turn to Delta. "Just tell me.. you're using another trick to get a Meat.

"I'm not,,idiot... That Blood contains a scent of the Royal marked Blood that I am perceiving.. Meaning.. that someone is Carrying you Marked child Already. And her scent is fading from.his body."

"What!!!. " Charles eye widen in disbelief..

He first and rush to the orchestra... But the garden still look empty. Then he's high hope and expectations all fail. Delta is playing with his senses..

"I'm fucking damn serious... your child is on his way and trust me... It's the real Marked child.". Delta explained..

Charles rushed to Kai. "Mention the women that you do talk to???.Charles ordered in a tone of Authority...

Kai began scratching his hair. "Your Majesty .... Ermm... I talk to your MISTRESSES.. female servants, the slaves....

"Take me to them...I mean.. take me to them!".Delta interrupted. "I need to see them"

"Take us to them...!". Charles ordered.

Kai began leading the way. And Charles and the mountain lion stroll after him . People mopped at the king,,the lion and his trusted Guard.Everywhere was unusually quiet.

On their way.. they Bumped into Maria.

"My King!". Maria Genuflect

"Maria!" Charles called..

Delta began sniffing her. " I'm perceiving the smell from her.. but it ain't as strong as the one I perceive from that fresh Meat!"

"What do you mean...". Charles Questioned.

"Maybe I'm exaggerating..." Delta uttered and shook his yellowish furs.

"Are you Okay!?". Charles snarled at him.

"Don't take me as a joke! Delta.."

"I'm not joking". Delta snapped.

"You!... " Charles pointed at the Animal in anger. "What reason do you have to come out from where you were kept.".

"I was so Damn hungry and it have been long I tasted meat"...

"Is that why you have to kill?".

"Hey!!.. don't talk to me like you're the Good guy here... You way more worser than me".

"Your Highness!". Maria interrupted them.

"What is it Maria?". Charles answered with a Harsh tone.

"Your Highness.. I..."

" I think the council Elders are still waiting for me. DELTA go back to your.... " The rest of the words were swallowed back...

Kai and Maria flinched. Where was that animal that was just standing beside them.

"Your Highness,,I think it went to the Slave house!".

"What?!" Kai flinched. They all took off,, running after the Mountain lion.

THE SLAVE HOUSE

They were all done with the work Maria assigned them to do. Sonia was the second to the last to finish her work and it angered them.. They would have descend on her.

She was just so lucky to finish her work.

Currently,,they were all resting. Why Sonia was.busy clearing the heap of weeds assigned to her by them. She dare not argue with them. She humbly carried out her task.

As they all watch her.

" Damn!. I thought she will object what we gave her. "

" She dare not cos I'm always active to pounce on her. "

" Imagine all of us dealing badly with her. "

" She will faint.. infact,,she's done for. "

" Awwnn... I pity her sorry A**. "

They all laugh and pointed at Sonia. Sonia who was Busy burning the heap of grasses pause on sighting something.

It seems like the rest already sighted it.

" WHAT!? Delta? "

" The beast is out... Every body RUN!!!!. "

and off they took, running away for safety.

Sonia was a Bit far from them.. and she tried all she could to meet up. And when she finally did. They locked the door on her, keeping her outside.

"What!??... Open this door please..." She banged the door in fear.

" Stay there and rot to hell. "

" Don't worry Delta won't go easy on you. "

Sonia cried and banged desperately on the door. It was Huge scary lion running towards her. "Please... Please... Please". She begged.

"Please help me..." She cried and wish the ground could open up and swallow her.

Delta itself paused and stare at the frightened lady with it's yellowish eyeball. It's her... The scent is eminating from her. He rushed towards her,, sniffing and rubbing it's big yellowish furs on her.

Sonia was already a crying mess. Her eyes were tightly shut as she hugged herself.

Shivering in great fear. "Please don't hurt me!". She keep mumbling in fear.

Delta sniffed her waist region. Where the strong scent was coming out from."No way!".

Delta began dragging her clothes.

Sonia cried and hitted on the door The lion wants to feed on her.

"Stay away from her" Kai yelled stopping the lion. It snickered and turn to them.

Charles stare at Sonia back to the lion.

"If that's the meat you want... I can humbly grant your request". Charles Uttered loudly.

The Kings statement shocked Kai and Maria.

"You wanna give her out to the lion?". Maria asked to be sure of what she heard.

" Yes of course! Since her useless father don't wants to show up. Does she think she will be breathing for Long.?". Charles Questioned with a Smirk.

Sonia couldn't say a word. What did she expect,,, to be saved?.

"It would be so nice if such is done". Maria supported.

"ERM... Your Highness,,you have to reconsider your words!" Kai uttered.

"I don't have any thing to reconsider Kai... ".

As the whole Argument took place. Delta stared at the petite girl.with a frown. If she's the Actual person with the scent that means their is a problem somewhere. He shook he's head,,And the scent eminating from Maria began obstructing his sense of hearing.

"We need to Talk Charles!". Delta mumbled through their Mind link and began leaving.

"Don't worry I mean no Harm!... When you are done with your meeting,don't hesitate to meet me.".. With that Delta left to his Accord.

Charles turned to Kai.... "Are the elders aware of what just happened."

"I don't think so!. Cos no one dare Talk about what happened some Minutes ago". Kai answered with a Bow.

"Good let's go!".

"But your Highness..." Maria Interrupted.

"Hold it Maria!... I still Have a very strict discussion to have with you... You're suddenly becoming a Nuisance... Don't dare talk till I summon you to do so!".

With that he turned and left with Kai strolling behind him.

Maria seethed in anger as she turn to Sonia who was as quiet as a Mouse. "What did I tell you?!".

"I'm sorry Ma'am.. I'm not done with....

SLAP!!!!. Maria Interrupted her with a heavy tight slap. Sonia held her face and cried in anguish.

"Didn't I told you to be done before noon!?". Maria flared....

"I....

"Shut it.... Pig!". She snapped and dragged Sonia by her hair. "When I'm done dealing with you... You won't ever sit to talk about what will happen to you next... I will not also present you to Delta as a Meal.. but will make sure that your Bones and flesh will be shared to stray Dogs and vulture" Maria growled and dragged her by her hair Sonia whimpered and cried.

She's done with her work,,but the slaves won't let her rest.

When the coast was clear... The slaves all tripped out from the house.

" Damn!!! That was close?. "

" Imagine leaking the truth out,, we're done for ".

" You know my happiness... That she will be dealt with. "

" Gaddd!!! I wish Delta delt with her. "

" I can't believe she was crying just because of a Mere lion. "
