Chapter 143 Killing Aliens

The previous assumptions were wrong; these were not the indigenous people of the Secret Realm. They turned out to be aliens from unknown deep space!

This group had extensive knowledge of the Secret Realm, suggesting they had an extraordinary background. Previously, the explorers from Nova had been discussing the species deep within the Secret Realm, falling into a fixed mindset.

Although Wang Xuan was shocked, he breathed a sigh of relief. His heart no longer felt as heavy; instead, he felt a sense of relief.

If he had been forced into conflict with the indigenous people, a bloody battle would have ensued. Even if he won in the short term, the outcome would likely have been tragic in the long run. This was a supernormal planet, and if there were indigenous people deep within the Secret Realm, it was hard to predict what level of experts might exist.

Now he was at ease. He felt that it was time to take action. Since these ten people wanted to hunt them down, he had no reason to hold back. He would use every means to strike back and fight for survival.

"There won't be endless indigenous people chasing us, nor will we be besieged by incomprehensibly powerful sects. This is just a clash between aliens."

Wang Xuan muttered to himself. After all, he was also technically an alien now.

While his heart was no longer heavy, he didn't let his guard down. He remained cautious and fully prepared. These people, although young, were grandmasters and undoubtedly difficult to deal with.

Silent as a shadow, Wang Xuan moved through the forest, looking for his opportunity. So far, he had only spotted three of them, yet there should be ten experts in total. Where were the others?

He scouted for a while but found nothing further. The forest was deep and full of various creatures. Wang Xuan concealed himself and trailed the three, looking for an opening.

One of the men spoke, "The first rule of survival in the Secret Realm: kill any humanoid creatures on sight. But these primitive natives don't seem to pose much of a threat."

His tone was dismissive and disrespectful toward the people of Nova.

The only woman among the three was more cautious and said, "That person with abnormal mental strength is a bit problematic. Even though we've confirmed he's not a superhuman, we should still be careful."

Wang Xuan couldn't understand their language but picked up on their general thoughts through his mental domain.

"Zhuoyang warned us not to act rashly. He wants us to observe their trail carefully and confirm if there are any other experts among them. He's likely worried about that person with the abnormal mental strength."

The three were whispering.

Apparently, Zhuoyang and the others had discovered supernormal herbs and were waiting for the right time to join up with them.

"I think we're being overly cautious. These primitive natives are so weak. If we hadn't hesitated, we could've wiped them out with one charge."

"No rush. Let's wait until everyone's here before we strike."

Though they sounded arrogant and looked down on the people of Nova, their actions remained cautious.

Wang Xuan grew even more serious. His opponents were formidable and extremely vigilant. They had retreated earlier the moment they saw him release his mental domain.

Now, despite their arrogance, they hadn't acted rashly. They hadn't yet launched their hunt.

Wang Xuan followed silently through the dense forest, observing their movements and finding their pattern. The three would occasionally split up to scout, then regroup shortly after, maintaining brief intervals between their separation.

Wang Xuan decided it was time to act. If the other seven joined up, he wouldn't stand a chance.

Up ahead, a three-meter-tall silver-furred beast was startled by their presence and ran away. The three split up once again. This was Wang Xuan's moment!

He exploded into action, moving as fast as lightning. His right hand gripped the cold, silent short sword, aiming to decapitate one of the isolated men. Simultaneously, his left hand, acting like a knife, was ready to strike in case anything went wrong.

The man had exceptional reflexes, far beyond Moonlight Bodhisattva. In this critical moment, he sensed danger and quickly dodged.

He sidestepped with incredible speed, lunging forward to avoid the fatal strike. Though his head wasn't severed, Wang Xuan's short sword left a deep, bloody gash on the back of his neck, nearly reaching the bone.

Wang Xuan pressed the attack, aiming to land a follow-up strike, and brought his left hand down in a chopping motion.

The alien was a true grandmaster, his body honed through systematic training. His reactions were lightning fast, and he narrowly dodged the sword aimed at his heart, shifting to the side. But he couldn't fully evade Wang Xuan's left hand.

Wang Xuan's knife-hand struck the man's head, producing a sound like thunder as a bright glow flared up. The man's helmet, decorated with intricate patterns, emitted a faint light, blocking Wang Xuan's strike.

What was that?

Wang Xuan was shocked. He knew the strength of his own blow—it could easily crush a block of iron. When he unleashed his full power, his entire body glowed with a faint golden light, and his hand was empowered by his Golden Body technique, making it a devastating attack.

Finally, there was an effect. The man's helmet caved in under the force, and his head took the impact.

Everything happened in an instant. The man's body was thrown forward, partly due to Wang Xuan's blow and partly due to his own momentum. His skull was severely injured, caving in at the back, which looked terrifying.

However, being a true grandmaster, his vitality was incredible. Despite the severe head injury, he didn't die immediately and sprang back to his feet.

To an ordinary person, this would be monstrous. Who could survive such an injury, let alone continue fighting?

But his body was staggering. Wang Xuan couldn't help but acknowledge how formidable this man was. Compared to him, Moonlight Bodhisattva was no more than a pretender.

Wang Xuan's whole body glowed with a faint golden light, and despite his all-out effort, he had yet to finish off his opponent. Of course, the man's survival had much to do with the helmet he wore. Though it looked decorative, it shone with a mysterious power at a critical moment, as if the patterns and birds engraved on it were infused with secret strength.

This was the first time Wang Xuan had encountered something like this.

He didn't hesitate, charging forward again, determined to finish the job before the other two returned. He couldn't afford any more mistakes.

As he rushed forward, he activated his mental domain, sending a powerful shock toward the man's consciousness.

To his surprise, the man's helmet reacted once more. The bird engraved on it seemed to come to life, emitting a soft glow that blocked the mental attack.

Wang Xuan was astonished. This exquisitely crafted helmet could even defend against mental assaults?

In his eyes, this helmet was undoubtedly a treasure, but the fact that all of his opponents were wearing them wasn't good news for him.

No wonder they weren't too concerned about his mental strength after realizing he wasn't a superhuman. They had protective artifacts to shield their consciousness.

However, at the last moment, the hazy light around the flying bird extinguished.

This was because Wang Xuan's left hand had struck down, smashing the protective gear, causing some damage.

Continuous accidents occurred between the two combatants.

The man groaned in pain, his head pounding; he had opened his mouth to spew some true fire, intending to burn his enemy.

But now, the fire had dissipated, and he could not breathe it out.

The fire that had earlier burst out fell to the ground and actually burned a piece of blue stone until it turned red, nearly melting.

Wang Xuan's expression changed slightly; encountering one person like this was already difficult, let alone ten!

Without any hesitation, he stepped forward, his short sword swinging out.

Puff!

This time there was no uncertainty; it was as if a bronze blade had sliced through this man's neck, and with a puff, blood sprayed out, the head rolling to the ground.

Although it was brief, various unexpected events occurred during the process, and he finally killed this person.

A woman charged in from the opposite side, screaming with a face full of murderous intent; her originally beautiful features were somewhat distorted, looking as if she was determined to kill Wang Xuan, almost upon him.

Moreover, she actually used mental energy, employing a special secret technique to corrode towards him.

Wang Xuan smirked coldly, directly activating his mental field to push forward!

However, in an instant, he realized something was wrong; this woman was deliberately distracting him, the real danger lurking behind her.

As his mental energy surged forward targeting the woman, another person launched their attack.

This person had been very close, hidden in the shadows, and now he burst forth with full force, almost flying through the air, his hands pressing against Wang Xuan's back.

Wang Xuan sighed; these three were truly difficult to deal with, all seasoned and terrifying opponents, with experience and combat awareness that was truly frightening.

Compared to them, the Moonlight Bodhisattva was like a sprout in a greenhouse, not at the same level at all.

Fortunately, Wang Xuan was confident.

Even though this man and woman coordinated well, trying to ambush him, he was unafraid.

Because he had mastered the Golden Body Technique, he was not afraid of surprise attacks; even if he took a hit, so what?

Like a scorpion flicking its tail, he kicked back, intending to exchange blows with his assailants.

Both struck each other, reacting differently.

Wang Xuan's expression changed; he kicked the man's leg, causing his body to tremble violently, yet there was no sound of bones cracking.

He realized immediately that he had encountered a peer; the other party practiced protective techniques, making their body as hard as iron.

He didn't believe the other had entered the Inner Landscape; most likely, they had cultivated through various extraordinary objects and spiritual medicines.

The man who ambushed Wang Xuan had tremendous power, almost achieving an indestructible body in the eyes of ordinary people, but now his complexion changed dramatically.

Wang Xuan's back took a heavy blow, and he was propelled forward, the terrifying force of the man's palms vibrating his internal organs.

However, he ultimately steadied himself and was unharmed.

Behind him, the man screamed, his hands bloodied and penetrated, covered with countless bloody holes.

He could hardly believe that his strongest pair of hands was now bleeding profusely, resembling a sieve filled with tiny holes.

What is happening? Wang Xuan was astonished; he too was surprised by this.

Then, he seemed to recall something, feeling it was unbelievable.

When he rescued Zhong Qing from the swamp, she had shamefully pulled out two sharp steel plates, intending to bring them along at the end.

Ultimately, Wang Xuan had carried them for her.

Later, when he returned them, little Zhong seemed conflicted, feeling he had touched them and was somewhat reluctant to wear them again.

Wang Xuan was quite decisive; seeing her expression of disdain at having him handle them, he immediately put the plates on his own back.

At the time, Zhong Qing was furious, but ultimately didn't dare ask for them back.

Wang Xuan had never expected these items would be of any use; for his build, these "slender" steel plates only covered a small area of his back.

However, he had never imagined that those sharp points would pierce through the enemy's hands that had perfected their physical training.

This was definitely not an ordinary special alloy!

Wang Xuan showed an unusual expression, truly not expecting such a shocking result; the brief encounter today was filled with frequent surprises.

"You…" the man glared angrily at Wang Xuan, not expecting to encounter such a ruthless opponent, who had actually crafted such a treacherous protective device from rare secret metals.

At the same time, he was pained for himself, looking down at his hands, counting a total of twenty-two blood holes pierced through his palms, both hands trembling.

The woman naturally took the opportunity to rush in, stunned, her partner's Diamond Technique was a top-tier protective method; how could it end up like this?

This man's greatest strength lay in his physical body; his most potent weapon was his hands, and yet they were so badly injured.

"Come, let's clash hands, a hard hit to see whose palm power is more formidable!" Wang Xuan said, sheathing his short sword and gesturing with both hands.

Although the alien man didn't understand, he could comprehend the meaning; his eyes turned red instantly, realizing this was a… blatant provocation!

Was he taking advantage of his injury? Yet he was unafraid; even with the blood holes, his Diamond Technique was still terrifying.

He swung his hands forward, eager to immediately crush Wang Xuan.

But he was not reckless; a cold smile appeared at the corner of his mouth as his right foot silently lifted, kicking towards Wang Xuan's legs, treacherously.

Wang Xuan was naturally on guard against him; not long ago, this man had coordinated with that woman, attempting to ambush him, so he was certainly not of a straightforward character.

With a loud bang, Wang Xuan's foot collided with the opponent's foot, producing a thunderous noise, shaking the ground as sand and stones flew.

At this moment, the two men's hands clashed together, creating an even more terrifying explosion; shockwaves shattered the surrounding trees.

Wang Xuan was okay, merely letting out a groan.

The alien man, originally unafraid, could not bear it now; during the clash, the twenty-two small holes on his palms sprayed blood.

His hands should have been fine, but because of those holes, new wounds tore along the blood holes during the clash.

He felt quite miserable, in excruciating pain, his facial muscles twitching, decisively retreating again to look down at his bloodied hands.

The woman behind did not miss the opportunity, suddenly attacking, her right hand wielding a curved blade, slashing at Wang Xuan's neck, aiming to behead him.

At the same time, her internal organs vibrated, unleashing a bolt of lightning towards Wang Xuan.
