Chapter 50: The Lingyun Sect is in Crisis

This was the Cangwu Sect. As far as the Xian family was concerned, they did not care much for their plight, yet they were compelled to ally themselves with them? It was just ridiculous.

"If so, then collect all Nascent Soul realm you can get from your family and head over!"

The elder was mystified when he was surprisingly agreed upon by Xian Yue.

"What? Why? Didn't you say that the Lingyun Sect has no connection with us? Is it because of Xian Ran?"

Xian Yue nodded. "It is indeed because of Xian Ran, but the true reason is to assist him in awakening his special physique."

"What? Xian Ran has a special physique?"

The elder was taken aback as he had never encountered this before!

And when Xian Ran was plunged into the fairy pool, he had not done anything weird like Xian Yan did!

"The way to activate his body is quite weird; it needs a heavy external stimulation. Just do as I ask you and treat him well as one of the tribe!"

Xian Yue smiled, having caught a peek through the rivers of time and space, foresight to see what the Lingyun Sect would do in the future. He realised it could be that turning point for Xian Ran's awakening.

He stretched out his fingers, and several small golden orbs of light appeared on his fingertips.

"What are these?" The elder asked, with curiosity evident in his voice.

"They are powerful enough to destroy anyone in the Soul formation realm. Use them as a means of defense. If you encounter problems, simply throw one at your opponent and surely it will hit!"

"Understood!"

The elder nodded his head, accepting a few golden orbs and stowed them away carefully as he began making preparations for the required arrangements.

In no time, over a dozen monks from the family, all at the Nascent Soul realm, were gathered and set off towards the Lingyun Gate where they had been ensnared.

As she galloped along the ground, Xian Yin could not contain her excitement. "What are we doing? Are we going to fight?

Now, Feihua City had no monks who were enganged in fighting. Runaway disciples of both schools, and some bold characters emerge from houses, see the remnants and the corpses on the ground, and look them all over with care.

Those scattered goods on those corpses might be worth loads of money. May be able to find martial art or elixir in the loot, which would become new fortunes! Any lucky finds would keep them on their way toward spiritual cultivation.

In fact, many people were going to die, and others would rise to the top.

"Yes, you lot seem itching for a thrill. I'll take you to witness the grand spectacle. Be prepared for a possible big war!"

The elder beamed, and the group felt a sense of anticipation. Earlier, when they had run into the guards of Feihua City, it had barely counted as a battle at all, because their opponents were from the Golden Core realm. Anyone in their household could easily handle that kind of danger.

Some sect disciples could murder monks who are from the Golden Core realm, so those from the Spiritual Vein realm had little chance to do much!

"I hope there are some tough rivals to test my skills!" Xian Yin exclaimed enthusiastically, full of life.

"Don't get so cocky, young one. If you get hurt, just wait until we get back home; you'll see what I do to you!" her father, Xian Shan, teased her playfully. He was now on the threshold of breaking into the Golden Core realm and, due to the cultivation resources available to him, he planned to soon surpass Xian Yin and the other younger generation.

Many members within the family were at a similar pace, and they finally saw an impressive surge in the membership count of the Spiritual Realm within the Xian family!

In the treacherous canyons not far from the Feihua City, thousands upon thousands had gathered with grim expressions.

"The detestable Cangwu Sect has indeed collaborated with the Blood Knife Sect!" Han Zhen coughed as he sneered out with blood droplets in the corner of his mouth.

The Blood Knife Sect was also a mighty sect in the Feihua Mountains, and their Lingyun Sect was not in any better shape.

Ordinarily, sect kept their distance, but no one had envisioned that they would team up this time and sink Lingyun Sect to the worst depths of degradation.

Had they relied only on the Cangwu Sect, they wouldn't sink that low.

"What are we going to do now? With them encircling us, they must think of wearing us down. We can't just sit here and wait to die; if so, we're dead meat!"

Chen Yuanfeng's face had worry etched on it; one of his arms dangled limply, still oozing blood copiously.

"We have two choices: we either fight them to death or wait for help from the Xian family!"

Sect leader Pengfei glared at Xian Ran, who was sitting next to him with a pale face.

"The Xian family? Even if they were to send someone from the Nascent Soul realm it wouldn't be much use. Master Ni Fengtian of the Cangwu Sect and Blood Knife Ancestor of the Blood Knife Clan are two capable experts of the Soul formation realm. What use would the Xian family be for us?"

Chen Yuanfeng shook his head, better to act than to wait for help that may not even arrive.

"No way, if we can create some disturbance and make some opening to escape out of this Cangwu Gate and Blood Knife Gate, then we can change the tide!"

Pengfei spoke firmly.

The Nascent Soil monks in Lingyun Sect are surely weaker than the Xian family.

"Wonders if Xian Family got our petition and wants to intervene? Hmph, look at Xian Ran."

Aching Han Zhen looked afar, dissatisfied with the fact that Xian Ran was sitting cross-legged. "He's asking him to seek help from his family while they're in such a desperate situation, and he doesn't move. Why? If he could finally gather his family to save us in this battle, does he consider our sect worth saving?"

Han Zhen grew more and more impatient. If Xian Ran had made a move, their prospects for survival would have probably increased because the chances for interference from the Xian family would have been higher!

The more often Han Zhen met Xian Ran, the more shocked he became by Xian Ran's strength. Several of the Spiritual Realm practitioners he had managed to kill had not even injured him the slightest bit!

Such strength had never been seen before.

"Does he not have some kind of special physique?"

"It should be impossible. If he has any peculiar physque, then his secret should have been revealed long ago!"

Xian Ran, sitting beside him, listened to their discussion and narrowed his eyebrows slightly.

He really did not want to drag his family into this war, at least not when there is no friendship between the two opposing forces. What if his family had a disaster because of it?

Besides, he was ashamed of what Han Pu did in the past. How could he then demand assistance now?

However, thoughts about the family made him perplexed. How did they get such a treasure as the fairy pool, which he never knew about?

The effects of the pool were amazing; he could improve his aptitude!

At that moment, a frantic report disrupted his thoughts. "Reporting to the sect leader, there are outsiders battling with the Cangwu Sect and the Blood Knife Sect!"

"Oh? Who are they?" Pengfei asked in a worried manner.

The other elders lit up at this news, excitement rife in the gathering. Could this be the break they had been waiting for?

"I don't know, but they're incredibly powerful! They're all Nascent Soul realm cultivators, and their battle against the other two sects is fierce!"

"The entire Nascent Soul realm? Is it perhaps the Xian family?" Pengfei narrowed his eyes slightly.

"Let's go, I want to see this for myself! Great Elder, please prepare everyone. We will rush out at the first sign of an opportunity!"

"Understood, Master!"

Everyone charged into action in hopes of capturing the opportunity that might make the difference.
