Chapter 90: Dragon Bone Soup Recipe

"That's great! Why don't we cook it now? I have a feeling he doesn't seem like a peaceful guy!" Nihuang said, fanning the flames with a mischievous look.

"Senior, please, don't worry! I'll be very peaceful, I swear! I won't cause any trouble!" King Tuntian hurriedly replied, his tone filled with desperation. He had barely escaped death, and now this large bird seemed eager to finish him off.

King Tuntian's thoughts raced: If I get a chance, I'll make sure this bird regrets it. But for now, he had to play along.

"Since you're a pet under the same master as me, shouldn't you also refer to him as 'Master'?" Nihuang chimed in, her tone carrying the authority of an older sibling.

"Yes, yes! Master! I'll stay here peacefully, I swear!" King Tuntian nodded repeatedly, eager to appease her.

Xian Yue smiled and turned to Nihuang, "How are the spiritual plants in the orchard growing? Any signs of pests?"

"No pests, and the spiritual plants are flourishing!"

"Good. I'll leave the orchard in your care for now. If anything comes up, let me know. But don't eat the spiritual fruits—they contain immense energy, and if you eat them without preparation, you might explode."

"Don't worry, Master! I wouldn't dare eat them!" Nihuang assured with a playful grin.

After giving his instructions, Xian Yue returned to his calm activity—fishing at the Zhutian Fishing Pond. Meanwhile, King Tuntian exhaled a long breath of relief. While Xian Yue seemed kind, his words carried an unmistakable warning that kept the king on edge.

"But what is this place? The spiritual energy here is so dense!" King Tuntian thought as he swam through the pond. The liquid didn't feel like regular water; it was rich with spiritual essence, like a pond of refined spirit liquid—a heavenly blessing!

"Hey, little carp! You better behave! Otherwise, Master will roast you over a fire any day now!" Nihuang teased, pointing at King Tuntian with her wing.

"Yes, yes, Sister Bird! I'll be good! But...what is this place exactly? I've never heard of such a magical realm."

"First off, call me Senior Nihuang, not Sister Bird," Nihuang corrected, puffing up her chest.

"Yes, Senior Nihuang. But seriously, where are we?"

"Are you stupid? This is the Master's home, of course!" Nihuang said with disdain.

"The Master's home? Who is this Master?"

"The Master is the Master! What more do you need to know? Just do your duty as a pet and don't ask too many questions!"

King Tuntian ducked his head beneath the water, fuming internally. This bird's arrogance is unbearable! If I wasn't afraid of the human's strength, I'd pluck her feathers one by one! But, realizing the opportunities this place provided, he quickly suppressed his resentment. The rich spiritual energy could help him grow stronger rapidly. If he could surpass them, maybe he'd take control of this paradise for himself one day.

Half a month later, Mei Rong returned to Feihua City, and as promised, she brought Xian Yue a rare recipe.

"Dragon Bone Soup?" Xian Yue raised his eyebrows as he examined the recipe carefully. He had never encountered such a dish during his time at Blossom Beast Hall.

"This is an ancient recipe," Mei Rong explained. "But the ingredients are incredibly rare. We juniors haven't been able to gather what's necessary, especially the dragon bone, which is the main component. However, with your abilities, I'm sure you could acquire it easily, which is why I brought it for you."

Mei Rong spoke with reverence. Their family had attempted to substitute snake bones for the dragon bone in the recipe, but the results were far from satisfying, both in taste and in energy.

"Dragon bone?" Xian Yue mused aloud. "The Longshen Monster Emperor, ranked fourth on the Heavenly Dao Golden List, should have a dragon bone, correct?"

Mei Rong was startled. "Senior, are you thinking of..."

"We'll see. If he truly is a dragon, then we can 'borrow' his dragon bone for this dish. If not, we'll find another way," Xian Yue said casually, as if he were discussing borrowing a cup of sugar, rather than the bones of a powerful emperor.

Mei Rong could only swallow hard in amazement. Her admiration for Xian Yue grew even deeper. Only someone of his caliber would consider confronting a great emperor just for the sake of a recipe.

As their conversation shifted, Mei Rong mentioned that her family was planning to move away from Zhongzhou, seeking Xian Yue's guidance on the matter.

"Honestly, it doesn't really matter where you are. Soon, the entire Absolute Beginning Star Domain will become a holy land for cultivation," Xian Yue remarked, gazing into the endless expanse of stars. "Have you noticed the cosmic powers arriving here? They're not just visiting—they're moving their entire bases to the Absolute Beginning Star Domain."

"So, instead of just surviving, you should aim to rise among the top powers in the universe. It shouldn't be difficult for the Mei family, especially with you and your sister," Xian Yue advised.

"Why would they move everything here?" Mei Rong asked, frowning. The Absolute Beginning Star Domain had always been barren, with even saints struggling to emerge. Why would these powerful cosmic forces flock to such a place?

Xian Yue chuckled. "Who knows? But it doesn't matter. The more powerful beings that settle here, the better it is for the growth of the Xian family."

While they spoke, Xian Yue approached them, clearly excited. Xian Yue, sensing why he was there, excused himself to give the young man a chance to speak privately with Mei Rong. He casually returned to his fishing spot, leaving the two to their conversation.

Xian Yue had no interest in eavesdropping, but King Tuntian, who was still swimming in the pond, could not help but overhear the discussion. His body tingled with anxiety. Why does this woman, who is clearly stronger than me, respect her Master so much? King Tuntian's mind buzzed with questions. The world was changing, and he was struggling to understand it. Who were all these powerful beings that seemed to have emerged out of nowhere? And what was this "Absolute Beginning Star Domain" everyone was talking about?

After some time, Xian Yue returned to Zhutian Fishing Lake, his face glowing with excitement.

"Progress already?" Xian Yue asked, noticing Xian Yin's expression.

"Not exactly. We're just starting to get to know each other, but hey, that's progress, right?" Xian Yue grinned sheepishly.

Xian Yin then glanced around at the massive Zhutian Fishing Lake. "When did you build such a large lake here, Chief?" he asked, astonished by the sheer size of it.

Xian Yue merely smiled in response, turning his attention back to the peaceful waters of the lake.
