Chapter 100: Sign In To The Great Emperor Dao Fruit Again

"Go home!" Xian Yue said firmly.

"Go home?" Xian Li asked, her voice filled with confusion.

"Yes, go to your master's home," Xian Yue clarified, "There, no one will dare to bully you. You can grow up happily."

As he gently touched Xian Li's head, Xian Yue turned his gaze toward the distant Heavenly Palace. This time, lifting the veil of Ascension would likely result in the deaths of many Immortal Emperors. But none of this concerned him. In an instant, his figure vanished from the Immortal World and reappeared in the universe from which he originally came.

The Emperor Longshen, who had been deep in meditation, abruptly opened his eyes. He had sensed an incredibly pure dragon power somewhere deep within the starry sky. Driven by curiosity, he rushed to the source of this Longwei energy, but when he arrived, there was nothing.

"Was it just my imagination?" he muttered, frowning as he shook his head. He had been overly sensitive recently, nearing a breakthrough in his dragon transformation. How could such pure dragon energy exist here, unless a real dragon had emerged in the world?

Back in the Eternal Divine City, Xian Yue and Xian Li appeared in Xian Yue's courtyard. He smiled and said, "From now on, this is your home."

Xian Li, though timid and apprehensive in the unfamiliar surroundings, couldn't help but glance around curiously.

"Master, you're back?"

The Tuntian King, who had been cultivating in a nearby pond, emerged with a flattering smile. But as soon as his eyes landed on the small figure standing beside his master, his expression shifted. A chill ran through him, and an overwhelming sense of fear filled his heart. The aura emanating from the little girl was monstrous. Despite her untrained appearance, she gave off a terrifying and overwhelming presence, far beyond anything he had encountered.

"A little girl... yet she carries the weight of an ancient and ferocious creature," he thought, suppressing his panic.

"Not bad," Xian Yue remarked casually, noting the Tuntian King's advancement. "You've broken through to the Law Manifestation Realm? Why haven't you transformed yet?"

"I didn't dare transform without your permission, Master, and I haven't yet learned the transformation technique," the Tuntian King replied honestly.

The energy around the pond was rich, almost a paradise for cultivation. Yet, through what Nihuang had mentioned in passing, the Tuntian King realized that this was just a humble part of Xian Yue's domain. The real treasures, the true sanctuaries for cultivation, lay far beyond this modest place.

As the Tuntian King spoke, he glanced cautiously at Xian Li, apprehension filling his eyes.

"Oh, I see. If you wish to transform, go ahead. And as for the Divine Ability technique, you can learn it within the family. Even as my pet, your strength cannot be too low," Xian Yue said.

"Thank you, Master!" The Tuntian King responded with enthusiasm, visibly excited.

At that moment, the system chimed in Xian Yue's mind, [The system has successfully signed in. Congratulations, host, you have obtained a Great Emperor Dao Fruit.]

"It seems another Great Emperor will soon rise within the family," Xian Yue thought, amused by his continued fortune.

Just then, a voice echoed, "Where did this little girl come from?"

It was Xian Wu, Xian Yue's father. He had appeared out of nowhere, eyeing Xian Li with curiosity before turning his attention to his son.

Startled, Xian Li hid behind Xian Yue, peeking out timidly.

"This is my disciple. Her name is Xian Li," Xian Yue introduced calmly, as he placed a reassuring hand on her head. "Father, meet Xian Li."

Xian Wu nodded in acknowledgment before addressing the girl with a gentle smile. "Hello there, Xian Li."

Xian Li shyly replied, "Hello, Master."

Xian Wu laughed lightly, then turned back to his son. "You? A master? Since when do you take disciples? I thought you only spent your days fishing and doing nothing else. You surprise me."

He fumbled with his space ring, only to realize that he didn't have any gifts to offer the little girl. "Ah, I'm afraid I didn't bring anything suitable as a welcome gift. Quite the embarrassing oversight for an Emperor."

As he spoke, Xian Wu's gaze lingered on Xian Li, and his eyes narrowed. "Wait a minute... are those horns on her head? What kind of creature is she?"

"She's of the dragon clan," Xian Yue explained, amusement twinkling in his eyes as his father's jaw dropped.

"A dragon? You've got to be kidding me!" Xian Wu exclaimed. "Where in the world did you find a dragon?"

"After searching everywhere," Xian Yue responded casually, though his tone held a note of pride. "When you meet someone with great potential, you naturally want to take them under your wing. And didn't the elders suggest I teach some of the family's younger members anyway? So I figured, why not? I have the time."

Xian Wu chuckled, shaking his head. "The family matters seem to be too easy for you. The elders take care of most things, so you've grown bored, I see."

"So," Xian Yue said, spreading his hands, "what brings you here today, Father? Is there something troubling you?"

Xian Wu's expression shifted, and he became more serious. "Actually, yes. Do you remember Xian Yuyang, the elder who guards the Sutra Pavilion?"

"Of course. The one who is blind, right? Why, what's happened?"

"Do you know how he became blind?" Xian Wu asked, his voice lowering.

Xian Yue frowned. "I don't, actually. I've always known him as blind, ever since I was a child. What happened to him?"

Xian Wu sighed. "It happened many years ago. His blindness isn't natural—it was caused by an injury. Recently, I saw him while I was in the Sutra Pavilion. He mentioned that his eyes were burned by a strange light while he was out cultivating."

"Burned by a light?" Xian Yue asked, now intrigued. "What kind of light could do that?"

"I wasn't sure either, so I decided to investigate the location he described. The strange thing is, despite my cultivation, I couldn't get close to the area."

Xian Yue was taken aback. "Even with your level of cultivation, you couldn't approach it? Could it be a forbidden zone?"

"I'm not sure if it's a forbidden area, but there's something strange about it," Xian Wu said, shaking his head. "The air there was incredibly hot—unbearably so. It felt like the entire space was saturated with a burning force."

"A burning force? Could it be some sort of strange fire?" Xian Yue pondered, his brow furrowing.

"I don't know, but it definitely felt that way. I want you to go check it out when you have the time. If it turns out to be a treasure, it would be better if it's secured by our Xian family," Xian Wu suggested.

Xian Yue nodded. "Alright, I'll make time to investigate."

Then, with a grin, Xian Wu added, "And while you're at it, take your mother with you."

Xian Yue blinked in confusion. "Why should I take Mother? What does this have to do with her?"

"That place is not far from your grandfather's home. It would be a good opportunity for your mother to visit her family. She's been wanting to see them again for a long time," Xian Wu said, his tone softening.

"My grandfather's home?" Xian Yue asked, surprised. This was the first time his father had mentioned anything about his maternal grandfather.

"Yes," Xian Wu replied with a sigh. "There have been some… disagreements between me and your grandfather. That's why your mother hasn't visited them since she married into our family. But I can see that she still misses them, even if she doesn't say so."

Xian Wu's voice grew distant as he continued, "It's time to put the past behind us. Why not fulfill her wish and let her visit her family? It would mean a lot to her."

Xian Yue nodded, absorbing his father's words. "Alright, I'll take her with me. It's about time she reunited with her family."

With that, father and son exchanged knowing glances, both silently acknowledging the importance of the journey ahead.
