Learning from a Necromancer

The meeting lasted 3 hours, it was already too late by the time they finished their plan of action. Unlike Akara and Kashya's plan to go straight to the Rogue Monastery and take out Andariel directly, with Kashya being direct and Akara having a plan to rescue Deckard Cain from the city of Tristram where they've had him captured all this time. Aside from the fact that we don't know how Akara knows this Deckard Cain is alive, Christel opted not to go straight to the ancient Monastery.

In Diablo II, everything seems to move faster, the player can clear out enemies while running to the Monastery, but this is reality, and Christel knows that, although the heroes gathered may be very powerful, they will definitely only be meat for the wolf's mouth if they go now. Christel does not want to face the demon bosses, he knows that he can win items that can make him more powerful, but he is not a world traveler or a reincarnated who has a system that shoots him in strength like a rocket to the sky by completing quests, he is just a common little mortal human. Forget about Moreina, just one of the Corrupted Rogues at her side can leave Christel like a porcupine with her arrows. So she proposed a slower approach but one that could lay a firm foundation for everyone, Conquer Khanduras.

Christel asked if they had a map, so Akara pulled out an old, simple one. All the important books and knowledge were left in the Monastery. She only managed to take out some important things, but she had to leave others behind. The map spread out on the table is very simple, but it has important points of Khanduras.

Christel took the parchment containing her Gothic painting titled "The Suffering of the Fallen Rogue Sisters" that had dried, and turned it over. She then began to paint, according to Akara's map, a project plan and steps to go about conquering the lands around her.

"...So as a first step we must completely clear the entire now called Valley of Hope. The cave where the altar was will be an ideal place to use as a natural fortress. I'm not saying that we should abandon the camp, but that it will be a point along with the cave to have a strategic defense. We need both the water from the river and the extensive lands. What we must do first is defend our position and let more caravans and mercenaries join our population..."

And so, Christel explains her plan for land reclamation, and places hourglass and hammer and wrench markings in the farthest areas of Camp Rogue, with an exclamation point where Tristan is, and a crossed swords and archway symbol where the East Gate is.

Although a little slow, and with everyone's help, Christel managed to explain her plan in general and the current plans and to further expand her vocabulary.

"UAJAJAJAJA Little girl, you have knowledge of war and administration, your parents must be great scholars who assist rulers" The thunderous voice of Korgar Throm, he is the Barbarian Warrior of Mount Arreat origin. A robust and brave warrior from the mountains of the North.

"Mmm, an interesting approach, detailed plans and a strong ambition, I like it..." The one speaking now with a low, reverberating voice is Malachar Zorath, the necromancer who comes from the Eastern Wastes and is a dark master of life and death, linked to the spirits. 'I could almost swear I'm seeing and hearing Arthas'

"By the way, Master Malachar Zorath, do you happen to have a soul-tearing and imprisoning weapon called Frostmourne?" Christel with her pure and sincere eyes asked the necromancer master with a smile.

"Mmmm, I haven't heard of that weapon, but it sounds interesting. Tell me about it."

"Well, it is said that it was forged in the plane of the shadowlands, it was forged in the abyss by..."

"Cough, Christel you can talk about that later, Master Malachar, Lord Korgar, would you mind if I asked you to teach Christel a little of your skills, as you can see, she has great talent and potential, and in the future she will surely bring peace to our world..." Akara interrupted the conversation between the necromancer and Christel and asked.

"Ha? Train me?" Christel was amazed, it was also part of her plan to practice with these hero masters, each of the heroes in Diablo is very special and with unique abilities, maybe they don't want to teach their secrets to Christel, but a little of their knowledge will bring her great growth in her strength and power.

"HaHAHAHA! No problem for me, what do you think Christel, do you want to practice the ancient skills of Mount Arreat with me tomorrow at dawn?" Korgar put a hand on Christel's shoulder but it was so big that it almost covered her back.

"Sure, no problem, tomorrow morning is fine!" Christel replied with a smile, bearing the weight of that huge hand.

"I can teach you now, you can come with me anytime, I don't sleep, but, I need a place..." Malachar looked at Akara.

"Oh yes, Roxene, you can guide Malachar to the tent that is attached to the wall, it is the largest."

'Roxene won't be Akara's assistant as an apprentice, right?' Christel thought in her heart. As she said goodbye to everyone and followed Malachar and Roxene.

As they reached the Priestesses' tent area, Christel looked over at Jaina who was waiting at the entrance to her tent. She trotted over to Jaina and poked her stomach, tickling her.

"...Leaving me alone to suffer through Charsi's cooking, and running away without even warning me! Take it, take it."

"Hahahaha~ Christel, sorry, sorry, but, okay, okay, hahaha, I give up, it's my fault..."

"Hmph, by the way, I'm going to take some teachings from Malachar, the necromancer. I might not be back for a while, if you can, you can get me a decent plate of food and leave it inside my tent, no need to wait up for me."

"Okay, leave it to me. Sorry for not telling you about Charsi, but..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, you couldn't say it in front of her. It's okay, I forgive you, just get the food and sleep...Muack"

"Mm!"

A few moments later at Malachar's new store.

"Very well little Christel, show me the technique you used on me, Akara says it has mutated with divine energy"

"The analysis spell? But didn't they tell me that you can't use it on third parties?"

"I'm giving you permission, don't talk just use it on me"

"Well... [Identification]" Christel now without needing to concentrate much and close her eyes to feel her inner energy, above Christel's raised right palm a golden formation of a triangle with an eye inside appeared.

Christel instantly saw a transparent barrier around Malachar but with a little more effort she broke through it, seeing a bunch of shiny objects of different sizes and almost understanding them all, like their function. And when she wanted to go deeper suddenly her magic was interrupted by an energy that interrupted the movement of her energy.

"Enough!" Malachar raised a staff from which emanated a silvery glow resembling that of the moon.

"Sorry..." Christel apologized, thinking she was exaggerating.

"Don't apologize, the stop was just to interrupt your concentration and make your pentagram collapse. You did very well, so much so that I'm impressed Christel, not only did you manage to break through my mana shield, but you identified all of my magic items, ignoring my items whose job is to prevent that from happening. I'm not surprised that you saw the souls of those little corrupted ones."

Malachar talks more than he seems to. His reverberating voice seemed to have a hint of admiration.

"Open your robe, let me see..."

"Ara?~ What?" Christel hugged herself in a defensive pose, pushing her body away.

"Don't worry Christel, I'm not interested in living bodies. Akara is wrong about something, the mutation is not due to divine energy, although it is similar, it doesn't feel like it comes from angels like the paladins."

'Mr. Necromancer, your words are even scarier!' Christel, without a choice, opened the priestess' robe a little in front, revealing her pajamas and her belly with her small navel.

With an ice-cold hand, Malachar placed it on Christel's belly and closed her eyes. Christel felt a current of wind enter her belly and run through her body.

"A lifetime, child, aren't you too young for this?" Malachar opened his eyes and looked at Christel with a hint of strangeness.

"I..." Christel froze and her entire face down to her neck turned pink.

"The girls of the Brotherhood of the Blind Eye have interesting methods of reproduction just like the Askari, so the rumors are true. There is a method that seems to freeze time in the new life without affecting it. I'm not interested in this anyway."

Malachar after a few seconds pulled his hand away from a Christel so embarrassed that she wanted to throw herself into the river outside. 'Good heavens, now someone knows about this. I want to find a crack in the ground and jump in!'

"Such a strong, pure vitality, your cells are very strong that make your body and internal organs powerful like barbarians, but your vitality is not the reason for the mutation of your spells. It seems to come from your spiritual sea, but it is definitely not divine, at least not from the divine beings of this world. You have a perfect body, that if you die, you would be the most powerful corpse. Your descendants will also be very strong."

"Thanks, this. Can you keep that a secret?"

"Mm sure, I don't mind. Here, this is a diary that can help you translate and understand these scrolls, take them, I don't need them anymore. You can come see me if you don't understand something, now you can go, your husband is surely waiting for you, heh~"

"Husband?" Christel froze as she took the scrolls and notebook. 'He means Jaina, well he looked at her as I greeted her a while ago and also the kiss, in my state I may misinterpret it'

"Thank you for the scrolls and the book, Master Malachar. I won't bother you anymore then." 'What's wrong with all the masters in this world, just throwing out some scrolls and leaving me to self-study? Tomorrow Korgar won't just throw some scrolls at me and leave right? How will I learn to fight like this!!!' Although Christel didn't want to be in this embarrassing situation, she also complained about the teaching method in the world of Sanctuary. Standing up and bowing slightly to Malachar, Christel left the tent heading to her own tent.

'I'm hungry, I hope Jaina brought something already...'

'When did a table appear here? But it's perfect...' Christel entered her tent and found Jaina sitting on a chair in front of a square wooden table about a meter by a meter. There was another chair on which Christel sat and placed the notebook and scrolls. In front of the empty chair where Christel sat was a plate with meat and bread and a glass of milk.

"Thanks Jaina, it looks like my studies will be here."

"Mm" Jaina had a very happy smile on her face, seeing Christel come in. She thought she wouldn't see her for hours and even though she had told her not to wait up for her, she was thinking about not sleeping until she arrived.

"How are you doing Jaina, can we talk more now?"

"Yes, you are amazing at learning so fast Christel hehehe"

"It's easy when you really need to learn it or you won't be able to live well"

"Christel, can I also learn the language of your hometown?"

"Uhm? Sure, tomorrow I'll teach you a little of my language"

And so, after a little chat where Christel told him what the place where she lived was like, of course, omitting details like technology and that she is in another world, he finished his dinner and now satisfied he wants to spend the whole night reading Malachar's notes and scrolls.

'Let's see what happens if 3:33 passes in this world, will I be forcibly sent away or nothing will happen until I fall asleep. And there's no problem in lying down until dawn, I can catch up on sleep on the blue planet by falling asleep early and come here to rest.'

And so, Christel began a concentrated reading while Jaina lay down on the fur bed and watched Christel until the moment she fell asleep.
