As the silver-white thunder Dou Qi coursed through the air, Mo Yu nodded slightly, then pulled out a fresh set of clothes from his storage ring, replacing the tattered ones on his body.

After changing into the new clothes, Mo Yu tidied himself up. The handsome young man reappeared, radiant as ever.

Once finished, Mo Yu sat down, crossed his still somewhat sore legs, calmed his mind, and quickly entered a cultivation state.

His mind swiftly traversed several meridians before reaching the spinning Dou Qi cyclone at his lower abdomen.

The Dou Qi cyclone, now under the gaze of his mind, had expanded to nearly twice its previous size, and the silver-white Dou Qi flowing within was clearly of a much higher quality than the previous pure white Dou Qi.

Due to the initial evolution of the Heavenly Thunder Body, the silver-white Dou Qi was faintly tinged with thunder. With the thunder's presence, the combat power of this silver-white Dou Qi would be quite terrifying.

"That was close, almost failed. Seems I can't be too reckless," Mo Yu thought as he wiped cold sweat from his forehead, recalling the dangerous cultivation process earlier.

Although the method seemed feasible, the actual process was full of twists and turns.

In fact, the creator of this technique overlooked a crucial issue—soul compatibility.

The soul and body are two sides of the same coin. Both are equally important, and arguably, the soul is even more critical.

After all, in the Dou Qi Continent, some powerful beings can survive as long as even a sliver of their soul remains. Their bodies can always be replaced.

Yao Lao was preserved within Xiao Yan's ring and later revived with his help. This is one such example.

However, the evolution of the Heavenly Thunder Body primarily focuses on the body, almost completely ignoring the soul. This is a huge mistake.

Even if the creator's body evolved into the Heavenly Thunder Body, while their soul remained unchanged, the conflict between the two would inevitably arise.

Had it not been for Mo Yu's past life, where he already possessed the Heavenly Thunder Body, and the fact that his soul did not conflict with his evolving body, he would have failed—perhaps even exploded and died!

"That was a real trap. Luckily, I had better luck this time."

At this point, Mo Yu couldn't help but feel like he had narrowly escaped death.

The creator of this method was indeed a genius, targeting the body for evolution, which was a brilliant move.

But the soul is far more mysterious and elusive. Research in this area is significantly more difficult, and even such a genius overlooked this aspect.

It's safe to say that throughout the Great Thousand Worlds, very few individuals could successfully cultivate the Extreme Spirit Thunder Technique.

After all, it requires someone with both the innate Thunder Soul and a soul that doesn't conflict with the Heavenly Thunder Body. Only those born with the Heavenly Thunder Body can achieve this, and such individuals are unlikely to cultivate techniques meant for those without innate gifts.

Mo Yu was a rare exception, having survived with just a sliver of his soul and stumbled upon this technique. He was able to cultivate the postnatal Heavenly Thunder Body.

This was a stroke of immense luck.

"Although the process was nerve-wracking, the result turned out quite well," Mo Yu thought, feeling the boundless thunderous Dou Qi within him. A slight smile crept onto his lips.

The evolution of the Heavenly Thunder Body was only at its initial stage, not even reaching the beginner level. However, its power was already beginning to show.

Although Mo Yu wasn't entirely confident about eventually advancing the postnatal Heavenly Thunder Body, the current quality and quantity of his Dou Qi had made a significant leap, surpassing even typical Xuan class high-level techniques and approaching Di class.

Moreover, the thunderous aura contained within his Dou Qi would bring unexpected damage to his opponents in combat.

As Mo Yu's body continued to evolve, it was bound to surpass not only the Xuan class but also the Di class, possibly even reaching levels beyond the Tian class!

This was the true terror of the Heavenly Thunder Body, and Mo Yu was just getting started.

After finishing all his tasks, Mo Yu slowly emerged from the cave. He cautiously climbed up the steep path to the mountaintop and, seeing that no one was around, nodded in satisfaction before striding back towards his family clan.

Meanwhile, in a faraway land, a monumental event was unfolding.

Central Plains, Lei Realm.

This was the domain of the Lei Clan, one of the Ancient Eight Clans.

Excluding the fallen Xiao Clan and the most powerful Gu Clan and Hun Clan, the Lei Clan was one of the strongest. The clan was filled with talent.

However, despite their power, the clan was currently in a state of panic.

In the grand hall of the Lei Clan, the high council of the Lei Clan gathered. Only those with high status within the clan were permitted to enter.

At the center of the hall sat a man as towering as a mountain, with slightly tanned skin. His very presence was overpowering, as though a dragon was coiled beneath his skin. A terrifying aura radiated from him.

This man was none other than Lei Ying, the current patriarch of the Lei Clan and a late-stage 8-Star Dou Sheng.

Having reached the pinnacle of strength on the Dou Qi continent, Lei Ying suddenly rose to his feet, shaking the hall like a dragon stirring the winds and clouds. The clan elders around him glanced over in surprise.

Lei Ying's usual calm confidence was replaced with shock and a mixture of doubt and joy.

"The aura of a Dou Di Bloodline? How can this be?!"

His thunderous voice echoed throughout the grand hall.

Hearing the words Divine Bloodline, the high-ranking members of the Lei Clan were in disbelief.

"What? A Dou Di Bloodline has appeared in the clan?"

"Where is this Divine Bloodline?"

"Could it be Lei Yu? He's one of the few with an eighth-grade bloodline, but he's still far from reaching Di Class."

The hall was filled with murmurs, transforming the once solemn chamber into a marketplace.

At that moment, the Lei Clan's Young Patriarch, Lei Dong, hurried over to Lei Ying, also wearing an expression of shock. "Father, has a Dou Di Bloodline really appeared in our Lei Clan?"

The appearance of a Dou Di Bloodline excited Lei Dong, but also filled him with unease.

While the presence of a Dou Di Bloodline would greatly enhance the clan's power, possibly even surpassing the Gu Clan and Hun Clan, it also posed a threat to his own position as the Young Patriarch.

As conflicting emotions swirled within Lei Dong, Lei Ying gravely shook his head and said, "This person is not from our Lei Clan. I can sense that they are far away, possibly a distant descendant of our clan."

"But the aura of a Dou Di Bloodline is unmistakable. Though it was fleeting and weak, there's no mistake."

The hall fell into a stunned silence. This explosive information was hard for even the Dou Sheng-level experts to digest.

After a brief pause, the Lei Clan's Grand Elder slammed his cane onto the black stone floor, causing a loud crash. The specially reinforced floor cracked open under the impact.

The elderly man, his face filled with excitement, spoke passionately, "We must find this person as quickly as possible. If their bloodline is this strong without undergoing the Emperor's Altar Baptism, then this is heaven's blessing for our Lei Clan!"

At that moment, everyone in the hall was filled with joy.

It had been thousands, if not tens of thousands of years, since a Dou Di Bloodline had appeared in the Lei Clan.

Even the usually composed Lei Ying couldn't help but laugh heartily. "Send the Black Demon Army to secretly locate this person. As the patriarch, I will personally train them!"

His words shocked everyone.

Shortly after, the Black Demon Army's Commander, whose presence was understated yet incredibly powerful, stepped forward to ask for the location of this Dou Di Bloodline.

In response, Lei Ying slowly turned towards a specific direction and said solemnly,

"Northwestern Continent!"
