With Mo Yu's rise, solidifying the reputation of the "Twin Dragon of the Xiao Clan," Xiao Ning didn't challenge Xiao Yan angrily like in the original story.

After all, with Mo Yu's brilliance ahead of him, Xiao Ning lost confidence in whether he could defeat Xiao Yan.

This unexpected change saved Xiao Ning from the humiliation of losing face in front of everyone.

After Mo Yu's ceremony concluded, more members of the family took the stage, but in the shadow of the overwhelming performance he had delivered, their achievements paled in comparison.

Xun'er's appearance, however, stirred up a considerable shock. A Dou Zhe at just fifteen years old—such an accomplishment was only slightly inferior to Xiao Yan's at that age.

Though impressive, many in attendance had heard of the Xiao Family's brightest jewel, Xun'er, so while astonished, the impact paled in comparison to the sudden emergence of the "Twin Dragon of the Xiao Clan."

The coming-of-age ceremony, which lasted from morning to afternoon, finally concluded amidst waves of astonishment. Even as the crowd dispersed, numerous gazes filled with awe still lingered on the calm youth in green and the composed youth in black.

As the ceremony ended, Mo Yu stretched lazily. To him, this monotonous formality felt incredibly dull.

After the ceremony, Mo Yu's life returned to its usual calm.

After advancing to the Dou Zhe level, Mo Yu also successfully condensed thirteen lightning patterns for the Thunder Body technique.

Now, Mo Yu was undoubtedly the focal point of the family. No matter where he went, respectful gazes followed, accompanied by greetings of reverence.

...

"Swish!"

In the lush forest behind the mountain, a figure darted nimbly through the trees, dodging obstacles with the grace of a swimming dragon.

The youth moved as swiftly as a dragon swimming through the sea, effortlessly navigating through the forest. The obstacles on the ground didn't slow him down at all, and his speed far surpassed that of an ordinary Dou Zhe.

"Whoosh!"

The rapidly moving figure suddenly halted, his feet slightly bent, his body tilting at an odd angle. Then, with a soft sound, he shot up into the sky, his feet tapping lightly on the tree's tip!

Though the figure remained atop the tree only for a mere ten seconds, if anyone had witnessed this, they would have been shocked. This level of movement technique was far beyond ordinary people's capabilities.

After pausing on the tree tip for a few seconds, a flash of light glimmered beneath his feet. Twisting his body, Mo Yu reappeared several meters away atop another large tree. If not for the faint trail in the air, anyone would have thought he had broken the spatial barrier, achieving a terrifying speed akin to teleportation.

"A Xuan-Class movement dou technique feels pretty good to use," came the joyful voice of the black-clad figure, now standing steadily on a tree branch.

"Nine Flashes of the Wandering Dragon!"

This was the Xuan-Class movement dou technique Mo Yu had mastered over the past few days!

After breaking through to Dou Zhe, he was barely able to use movement techniques, so he learned the Nine Flashes of the Wandering Dragon technique he had acquired at auction earlier.

In his previous life, Mo Yu had improved this technique, enhancing it to rival a high-level Xuan-Class dou technique. Naturally, he practiced the enhanced version.

Although the name Nine Flashes of the Wandering Dragon suggested nine flashes, it was merely a symbolic number. In truth, there were only three—Instant Flash, Shadow Flash, and Quick Flash.

These three variations weren't hierarchical; they simply served different purposes.

Instant Flash triggered an almost instantaneous burst of speed, catching opponents off guard, similar to teleportation.

Shadow Flash created high-speed movement shadows, indistinguishable from the real body, which possessed some dou qi power, confusing enemies—akin to a shadow clone technique.

Quick Flash was best used for long-distance travel, pursuit, or battle, making it extremely versatile.

In his previous life, Mo Yu had mastered this technique to a great extent, so picking it up again now felt natural.

While Quick Flash wasn't too draining, Instant Flash, even though Mo Yu had reached the Dou Zhe level, consumed more than half his dou qi with just one use. Clearly, it was only suitable for finishing moves in battle.

As for Shadow Flash, with his current dou qi, he couldn't even form a decent shadow clone.

After resting for a moment and recovering, Mo Yu suddenly frowned, narrowing his eyes as he gazed toward the edge of the forest.

Brushing off a few dried leaves from his clothes, a playful smile appeared on his lips as he lazily walked out of the forest.

Emerging from the woods, the warmth of the sun made his bones feel comfortably soft.

Mo Yu tilted his head slightly, his gaze landing on a woman standing on a large boulder not far away.

The sunlight bathed the woman's graceful figure, accentuating her alluring curves. Her long, slender legs looked especially captivating.

Eyeing Xiao Yu atop the boulder, Mo Yu leisurely walked to its base, looked up at her cold, pretty face, and let his gaze linger briefly on her alluring legs before lightly rubbing his nose. He said casually, "Your legs are beautiful. Cousin Xiao Yu, are you showing off on purpose for me to see?"

With just one sentence, Xiao Yu's cold expression turned icy blue in an instant.

Her chest heaved slightly as she clenched her teeth, her voice cold: "Do you know why I came to find you?"

"I don't recall having any grievances with you, Cousin Xiao Yu," Mo Yu shrugged innocently, as if baffled by her frosty demeanor.

In the sunlight, the handsome youth looked like a helpless maiden being bullied by an overbearing "young master" like Xiao Yu.

Seeing his confused expression, Xiao Yu realized something felt wrong. She had come seeking justice, but now it seemed like she was the villain.

Feeling slightly awkward, Xiao Yu suppressed her anger, though a hint of frustration still lingered in her brow.

"The elders of the family want to marry me off to you. Even my grandfather agrees with the idea," she said through gritted teeth after a brief pause.

"Oh?" Mo Yu raised his eyebrows in surprise.

He had been unaware of the family elders' intentions, but upon reflection, it made sense.

Though he carried Xiao family blood, he wasn't a pure Xiao family member since his surname was Mo, not Xiao.

The "Twin Dragon of the Xiao Clan" title indicated the family's desire to bind him closer, but titles alone weren't reliable.

Thus, marriage was the most effective method.

From Xiao Mei to Xiao Yu, it was clear the family placed increasing importance on him.

And with Xiao Yan's talent restored, the family patriarch Xiao Zhan no longer worried about the rise of the elder faction and even supported this match.

Considering this, Mo Yu frowned slightly. "How can I focus on great endeavors while managing a family?"

He had no desire to settle down while traversing the continent; that would be ridiculous.

Just as he was about to express his unwillingness, he noticed Xiao Yu's haughty expression and changed his mind with a playful smile.

"Oh? Really? Marrying a beauty like Cousin Xiao Yu? I'm looking forward to that."
