The power of the Mite-er Auction House's promotion was undeniable. Just one day after Mo Yu handed over the weapons, nearly all the major and minor factions in Wu Tan City had heard about it, and excitement ran high.

Unlike the last auction, where a high-tier Xuan class cultivation technique was sold at an exorbitant price, this time, the weapons were more accessible. Many smaller factions that couldn't compete for expensive techniques were eagerly awaiting their chance.

Weapons, unlike cultivation techniques, could be passed down as family treasures, making them highly valuable. As rumors of the Tiger Mouth Formation Breaker Saber and the Dark Serpent Shadow Sword spread, even Mo Yu, who remained at home, couldn't help but notice the buzz around the city. Seeing how these two mere weapons had stirred such a commotion, he sighed at the rarity of quality weapons and the remoteness of this small city.

On the third day, the Xiao family also received an invitation from the Mite-er Auction House. Several elders, intrigued by the chance to acquire a good weapon, expressed interest.

That afternoon, Mo Yu took the opportunity to slip out, this time without his usual black robe. He openly arrived at the auction house.

The Mite-er Auction House was bustling, likely the busiest it had been in the past six months. The spacious hall was filled with people, and the loud chatter was enough to make anyone's head spin.

Inside the auction venue, although still crowded, it was much quieter. Mo Yu scanned the room and found a seat toward the back, settling in as he lazily leaned against the chair, waiting for the auction to begin.

Soon after, a new wave of prominent guests arrived.

Mo Yu casually glanced around and recognized several elders and key figures from the three major families. Their goal was clear—his two auctioned weapons.

Under the gaze of countless eyes, Ya Fei, dressed in a form-fitting red qipao, gracefully made her way onto the stage. The tight dress accentuated her curves, instantly drawing many heated stares from the audience.

With a bewitching smile, Ya Fei playfully covered her mouth, laughing as she addressed the audience. Her mature allure instantly stoked the flames of excitement in the hall.

Observing the sudden spike in fervor, Mo Yu raised an eyebrow. Not bad, Ya Fei. In another world, companies would probably fight over someone with your skills.

Ya Fei, pleased with the effect she had on the crowd, smiled knowingly. Years of experience had taught her the power her beauty held over men. She couldn't help but feel a hint of pride.

Without noticing Mo Yu seated in the back, Ya Fei's smile deepened. "Everyone, I know what you're all here for, so let's skip the appetizer and go straight to the main event."

With a wave of her hand, the lights dimmed, and she bent down slightly to retrieve a wooden box from the center of the stage. Inside the box lay a nearly two-meter-long great blade, resting like a crouching tiger.

As the crowd laid eyes on the Tiger Mouth Formation Breaker Saber, their gazes heated up, and many began to gear up to claim it as their own.

"The Tiger Mouth Formation Breaker Saber, crafted by an unknown master forger. This blade is heavy and powerful, and when swung, it feels like a tiger pouncing on its prey. Starting bid: 30,000 gold coins!"

The price announcement caused a brief hush in the room, but soon, a burly middle-aged man with rippling muscles broke the silence with a booming shout, "40,000!"

This man was Oba Ba Pa, an elder of the Oba family, one of the three major families in Wu Tan City, and a two-star Da Dou Shi. Mo Yu recognized him right away, standing as tall as a basketball player.

"45,000!"

"49,000!"

…

Clearly, more than just Oba Ba Pa was interested in this blade.

As the bids continued to rise, Mo Yu was surprised by the eagerness for a high-quality weapon. It seemed he had made the right choice in letting the Mite-er Auction House handle the promotion.

After almost half an hour of bidding, the Tiger Mouth Formation Breaker Saber was finally claimed by Oba Ba Pa for the high price of 60,000 gold coins.

With his massive build, there was no doubt that the blade suited him best.

Ya Fei, relieved by the success of the first auction, secretly thought to herself, This price should satisfy him, right? I hope he isn't still upset about last time. I wonder if this auction will win him over.

Shaking her head lightly, Ya Fei smiled at the disappointed faces of the others who failed to win the bid. She brought out another wooden box and smiled, saying, "The next item is the Dark Serpent Shadow Sword. This sword is as dark as the underworld, and its movements are as swift and elusive as a snake. According to our appraisal, it even has the ability to pierce a Da Dou Shi's Dou Qi Armor. The starting bid is 40,000 gold coins!"

Upon hearing this, the crowd's eyes lit up with even greater intensity.

Compared to the Tiger Mouth Formation Breaker Saber, this short sword had a much wider appeal. With its ability to penetrate Dou Qi Armor, it was an ideal weapon for stealth and assassination.

Ya Fei knew this too, so the starting price was set higher.

"40,000," a cold voice called out from a man in a black robe, half his face hidden.

Mo Yu's gaze shifted to the man in the black robe, his eyebrows furrowing slightly. The man's outfit looked familiar, but it was the chilling, snake-like killing intent that set off alarms in Mo Yu's mind.

Interesting. Looks like Wu Tan City has some hidden figures too, Mo Yu thought, instinctively on guard.

"45,000." A few brave souls continued to bid despite the black-robed man's aura.

"50,000!" A familiar voice rang out. Mo Yu glanced back and saw Xiao family's second elder, though the pained expression on his face showed he had likely emptied his coffers for this bid.

"Elder, perhaps this weapon isn't suited for you. 60,000!" The speaker was Jia Lie Nu, the second elder of the Jia Lie family and a three-star Da Dou Shi. Unlike Xiao's second elder, he was in his prime and looked smugly at his rival.

Hearing this, the Xiao elder fell silent, 50,000 was already his limit.

"70,000!" The black-robed man called out again.

Jia Lie Nu frowned, unable to figure out the mysterious man's identity or his eerie aura.

"80,000!" Jia Lie Nu raised the bid again.

After a brief pause, the black-robed man coldly countered, "100,000!"

The hall went silent, shocked by the massive price jump. Spending 100,000 gold coins on a weapon seemed excessive.

Many in the room began to speculate about the man's identity. Clearly, he wasn't from Wu Tan City.

Even the elders of the three major families looked unsettled. Without family backing, they couldn't afford to continue bidding.

After a moment of tense silence, Ya Fei seized the opportunity to finalize the sale with a decisive hammer strike.

Seeing this, Mo Yu quietly slipped away, changing back into his black robe in a secluded corner before returning to the auction.

The two weapons, which had cost only 20,000 gold coins to make, had sold for 160,000. Mo Yu was stunned by the profit. Looks like selling weapons is a great way to get rich on the Dou Qi Continent after all.

Led by a servant to Ya Fei's office, Mo Yu was surprised to find that Ya Fei herself wasn't there. Instead, her personal maid, Xueli, greeted him.

"Sir, here are the items you requested. Please check them," the maid Xueli said, carefully handing over a storage ring before standing aside nervously.

Mo Yu had a good guess as to why Ya Fei hadn't shown up herself. She was probably still embarrassed about the misunderstanding from their last encounter.

Shrugging it off, Mo Yu extended his soul force into the storage ring, inspecting the materials.

After a few moments of careful examination, Mo Yu's lips curled into a satisfied smile.

The Mite-er Auction House had been efficient. In just a few days, they had gathered all the materials he needed.

After transferring all the materials and the remaining 50,000 gold coins to his own storage ring, he handed the original ring back to the maid.

"Please tell Miss Ya Fei that I'm very pleased with this transaction."

With that, Mo Yu glanced at the startled maid, gave a small smile, and turned to leave.

Next up: the Beast Ring and the Divine Might Black Thunder Spear.
