After finishing everything and fully recovering his strength, Mo Yu slowly walked out of the cave and headed back to the clan.

In a good mood, he returned to the clan and walked to the front yard, where he noticed the three elders hurriedly walking past him. Stopping in his tracks, a thoughtful look flashed in Mo Yu's eyes as he clearly observed the gloomy and angry expressions on their faces.

"If I remember correctly, the Xiao family is about to face some trouble," he thought as a few fragmented memories flashed in his mind. Shaking his head, he turned around, only to see a tall woman dressed in an academy uniform emerging from a small path, looking rather upset as she angrily blocked his way.

Looking at the tall, beautiful, and rather sexy Xiao Yu in front of him, Mo Yu's heart skipped a beat. He hadn't seen his fiancée for several months now, and he found himself missing… her long legs.

Caught off guard by Mo Yu's fiery gaze, Xiao Yu's originally imposing demeanor faltered, and her face turned a bit red. She took a step closer, her eyes scanning him with a hint of concern as she half-angrily, half-curiously asked, "You… have you broken through?"

Over the past few months, Mo Yu had been busy refining weapons and had used the excuse of breaking through as a reason for his long, secluded training.

Though his main goal hadn't been cultivation, thanks to his Thunder Soul and the dominance of the Heavenly Thunder Body, his strength hadn't stagnated. So, when faced with Xiao Yu's questioning, he calmly nodded.

"Yes, I've broken through. I'm sorry I couldn't spend time with you these past few months." Looking at Xiao Yu, who had been waiting for him all this time, Mo Yu felt a bit touched and apologized.

Hearing his words, Xiao Yu's lingering anger dissipated like a balloon losing air. She stepped closer, her long, slender legs moving gracefully as her fair hands began straightening the wrinkles in Mo Yu's robe.

Seeing the usually fiery and proud Xiao Yu behaving so gently, Mo Yu was momentarily stunned but soon relaxed and enjoyed her attentiveness.

Since the clan gathering nearly half a year ago, their relationship had become much more natural and smooth. Such behavior from Xiao Yu was something the former version of her would never have done, but now she was willing.

Occasionally, some clan members passed by, witnessing Xiao Yu, usually haughty and unapproachable, tending to Mo Yu like a gentle wife. Their eyes widened in disbelief, soon followed by envy.

As one of the most beautiful, mature, and proud women in the clan, Xiao Yu had long been the object of admiration for countless young men, especially her long, alluring legs that haunted their dreams. Now, seeing her act so submissively left many astonished at Mo Yu's 'wife-training' skills.

Looking down at Xiao Yu's delicate face, a strand of black hair fell onto her ample chest, occasionally lifted by the breeze, giving a glimpse of her soft curves. Her long, seductive legs swayed gently as she moved, making her all the more captivating.

Staring at her, Mo Yu's breathing unconsciously quickened, and a spark of heat flickered in his eyes.

In his past life, surrounded by enemies and disillusioned by love, he had no thoughts of starting a family and rarely concerned himself with matters of romance.

But in this life, where things were more peaceful, and he had the body of a young man, his natural desires…

"Mo Yu… What are you staring at?" Having straightened his clothes, Xiao Yu finally noticed his intense gaze. Her cheeks flushed red as she softly scolded him.

"Uh…" Snapped out of his thoughts, Mo Yu felt a bit awkward, but his thick skin allowed him to quickly recover. After a couple of light coughs, he casually said, "Nothing, I just think you're getting more beautiful."

Hearing his response, Xiao Yu let out a soft hum, though a pleased smile tugged at her lips.

Standing with her long, slender legs crossed, Xiao Yu suddenly blushed as she said shyly, "Actually, if you wanted… it wouldn't be impossible, but… not here."

After saying that, the usually outspoken and bold Xiao Yu lowered her head like a bashful bride.

Mo Yu was momentarily stunned before understanding dawned on him.

On the Dou Qi Continent, unlike his first life on Earth, there weren't as many formalities. After being betrothed, couples were considered as good as married, so premarital intimacy wasn't taboo.

Over the past three months, Xiao Yu had been feeling a bit anxious due to Mo Yu's seclusion. Now, in a moment of emotion, she had blurted out such words.

Mo Yu couldn't help but chuckle and shook his head.

He had only shown the typical reaction of any man, not intending to act on it. He wouldn't do anything irresponsible without sufficient strength to protect himself and those around him.

However, Xiao Yu's honest expression of her feelings did touch him. Smiling gently, he said, "There's no need to rush. If possible, I want to give you a grand wedding."

Hearing his words, Xiao Yu blushed even more, barely nodding her head in response.

She had felt a bit regretful after saying those words earlier. After all, it wasn't proper for a young woman to speak so openly about such things. She worried it might make Mo Yu think she was…

Fortunately, he hadn't taken her words literally and instead wanted to give her a grand wedding.

For a woman, what could be more fulfilling than that?

Not wanting to dwell on the subject, Mo Yu changed the topic, "Has something happened in the clan recently? Why do the elders seem so upset?"

"Yes, the Jia Lie clan recently brought in a tier-one alchemist, and now they're selling a new healing medicine called 'Rejuvenation Powder' in their marketplace. It's cheap and high in supply, which has made it extremely popular with mercenaries around Wu Tan City."

Xiao Yu furrowed her brows and continued softly, "Because of the Rejuvenation Powder, the number of people visiting the Xiao clan's marketplaces has dropped by nearly half, and many merchants have moved to Jia Lie clan's markets. This has caused considerable economic damage to our clan in just a few days, and Uncle Xiao Zhan is at his wit's end."

Mo Yu nodded in understanding. No wonder the three elders were so grim-faced.

Rubbing his chin, Mo Yu narrowed his eyes as a realization dawned on him, "A commercial rivalry, huh? I remember Xiao Yan personally took action and crushed the Jia Lie clan in the end..."
