While the Jia Lie family was engulfed in gloom, the Xiao family was brimming with joy.

Mo Yu's reputation within the Xiao family had skyrocketed along with the immense popularity of the Thunder Fire Beads.

After several days of sales, the original batch of 500 Thunder Fire Beads had sold out in a frenzy. Mo Yu, after notifying the family to send another batch of 500 materials, worked tirelessly to craft more and deliver them to the family.

Earlier in the morning, Xiao Yan, disguised as the black-robed man, discreetly delivered another batch of Coagulation Powder, further boosting the joyful atmosphere.

"Haha, let's see how the Jia Lie family can still be arrogant now. With the help of the Elder and Xiao Yu, our Xiao family is now in an invincible position," Xiao Zhan chuckled as he fondly caressed the small green vial and the black bead in his hands.

"Indeed, in just a few days, the traffic in our marketplace has doubled compared to its peak before. Along with the sales of healing medicine and Thunder Fire Beads, the profits from these few days alone are comparable to two or three months of the Xiao family's previous income!" The usually calm First Elder also couldn't help but beam with delight in the face of such a windfall.

Xiao Zhan nodded with a smile and turned to look at the bored Xiao Yan sitting on a chair and then at Mo Yu, the family's greatest contributor. He couldn't help but scold jokingly, "You little rascal, can't you learn a thing or two from Xiao Yu? I'm not asking for you to be as talented as him, but at least stay home and keep out of trouble. Every time the Elder visits, you're nowhere to be found."

Xiao Yan rolled his eyes helplessly at the undeserved scolding, while Mo Yu laughed, "Haha, Uncle, if Xiao Yan didn't wander around, how could he have encountered a mysterious expert like the Elder? Don't be too hard on him."

Hearing Mo Yu speaking up for Xiao Yan, Xiao Zhan, who had merely been venting his frustration, laughed heartily. "Yes, Xiao Yu has a point. The family owes much of its current success to your contributions. We won't forget your efforts. Half of the profits from the Thunder Fire Beads will be transferred to you later through your grandfather, Steward Mo."

Mo Yu nodded calmly at this. Although the amount wasn't large, it would total about 100,000 gold coins, which would ensure his grandfather lived comfortably after his departure.

After Xiao Zhan handled a few more family matters, Xiao Yan, feeling a bit bored, left the conference hall early, and Mo Yu soon excused himself as well.

Upon leaving the family's conference hall, Mo Yu headed toward his room, where his grandfather, Steward Mo, was already waiting with a joyful expression.

Seeing the old man's happiness, Mo Yu felt that all his efforts to help the Xiao family had been worth it.

Mo Yu handed all the gold coins to his grandfather for safekeeping, choosing not to keep any for himself.

After bidding farewell to his grandfather, just as Mo Yu was about to leave the Xiao family estate and head to the back mountain for training, a charming voice suddenly called out from behind him.

"Young Master Mo Yu, long time no see."

Before the voice had fully faded, a mature woman dressed in a red qipao stood at the gate with a smile. The tight-fitting qipao accentuated her voluptuous curves, her snake-like waist swaying seductively with each step. The slit in the qipao extended all the way to her thighs, revealing tantalizing glimpses of fair skin that dazzled the eyes and stirred the soul.

"Ya Fei," Mo Yu raised his eyebrows in surprise and asked curiously, "Are you here to discuss cooperation with the patriarch?"

Mo Yu recalled that the black-robed Xiao Yan had frequently auctioned Foundation Elixirs at the Mite-er Auction House. Now that the Xiao family had clashed with the Jia Lie family, it wouldn't be surprising if Xiao Yan had already approached the Mite-er family for a deal.

After all, Yao Lao's influence was never to be underestimated.

Upon hearing this, Ya Fei was surprised at how quickly Mo Yu had figured things out. She silently nodded her head in confirmation.

In fact, beyond the request to collaborate with the Xiao family on behalf of Yao Lao, Ya Fei had another reason for coming.

She had a very good memory, and during an auction not long ago, she had glimpsed the hands of a mysterious black-robed weapon refiner. His hands were as youthful and lively as a teenager's.

Now, Mo Yu had publicly claimed to have received instruction from an weapon refiner master, and weapon refiner were incredibly rare. It was only natural to suspect a connection between Mo Yu and the mysterious black-robed figure.

Upon further thought, she even speculated that the black-robed weapon refiner at the auction might actually be Mo Yu himself, and that the weapons he sold were likely made by his "master."

Biting her red lips lightly, Ya Fei stole a glance at the young man beside her. Dressed in a simple green robe, his tall and slender frame, handsome features, and calm, unfathomable eyes resembled a vast starry ocean.

After scrutinizing Mo Yu closely, Ya Fei still found it hard to believe that the man who had teased her at the auction was the same renowned young genius before her.

"Have you stared long enough?" Mo Yu, having guessed her thoughts, chuckled.

Startled, Ya Fei sighed softly, her footsteps slowing. "Should I call you 'Sir,' or 'Little Brother Mo Yu'?"

"You figured it out?" Mo Yu smiled, rubbing his chin.

Ya Fei brushed aside the strands of hair falling on her forehead, her natural elegance causing nearby Xiao family guards to gawk in awe. She bit her red lip and said with a wry smile, "Yes, there aren't many weapon refiners to begin with. It wasn't hard to piece things together. I assume the weapons you auctioned before were made by the master who taught you?"

Not bothering to correct her assumption, Mo Yu simply nodded and said, "My master doesn't like meeting strangers, so yes, the black-robed person at the auction was me."

Hearing Mo Yu's confirmation, Ya Fei sighed in relief. Then, as if recalling something, her expression became slightly aggrieved, and she said softly, "Since that's the case, why did you… still…"

Her face flushed as she struggled to finish the sentence, uncharacteristically embarrassed for someone usually so composed.

Understanding what Ya Fei meant, Mo Yu chuckled to himself. Back then, facing such a captivating character from the original story, he couldn't resist some harmless teasing.

Shaking his head, Mo Yu didn't want to be misunderstood. "I apologize. I'll make a formal visit to the auction house to make amends one of these days."

With that, Mo Yu turned and left. Unlike Xiao Yan, his identity wasn't sensitive, so being exposed wasn't a big deal.

Watching his carefree departure, Ya Fei's eyes flickered with a mix of emotions. Then, with a bit of frustration, she muttered through gritted teeth:

"That little rascal already has a fiancée, yet he still asked me to marry him before!"
