"Oh, um... you've all arrived."

Mo Yu greeted the four women with a nod, scratching his nose awkwardly.

"Young Master, you've been in seclusion for so long! Today, Sister Xiao Yu, Sister Cai Lin, and Sister Zi Yan came with me to visit you," Qing Lin said with a cheerful smile. She glanced at the messy, crumbled peaks around them, her verdant eyes flashing with surprise as her rosy lips parted slightly.

"Young Master, have you been practicing a new Dou Technique? This level of destruction—your Dou Technique must be extraordinary," Qing Lin blinked curiously as she gazed at Mo Yu.

As her words fell, Cai Lin, standing nearby with her usual cold demeanor, narrowed her beautiful eyes slightly at the destruction before her.

When she sensed Mo Yu's cultivation level, her delicate brows furrowed slightly—it was evident that Mo Yu's strength had advanced once again.

"Brother Mo Yu, you already have Sister Xiao Yu as your fiancée, and yet you're still messing with Sister Cai Lin? That's not very honest of you!" Zi Yan chirped as she bounced forward, her round, bright eyes sparkling mischievously.

"Zi Yan, don't talk nonsense. And since when did you become so close with them?" Mo Yu's expression darkened as he glared at her.

He glanced toward Cai Lin, who looked indifferent, and then at Xiao Yu, who seemed a little downcast. Quickly, he tried to change the subject.

"Hmph! I'm not a child. There's definitely something going on between you and Sister Cai Lin. During the month you were in seclusion, I got really close with Sister Qing Lin and Sister Cai Lin, even Sister Xiao Yu is close to them now," Zi Yan said, pouting disdainfully.

Mo Yu chuckled awkwardly. While Cai Lin, the queen of the snake-people, was cold and proud, those who knew her well understood she was deeply responsible and valued relationships.

In the original story, both Zi Yan and Qing Lin had good relationships with Cai Lin, so the current camaraderie was unsurprising. However, Mo Yu couldn't help but feel a bit anxious when his gaze landed on Xiao Yu.

"Congratulations on leaving seclusion," Xiao Yu said softly, stepping forward. Her wistful gaze turned to Cai Lin's perfect, breathtaking face, her tone carrying a hint of bitterness.

"Sister Cai Lin truly is stunning. Even Sister Qing Lin and Sister Zi Yan often praise her."

Hearing Xiao Yu's words and tone, Mo Yu sighed internally. As expected, Xiao Yu was upset.

Meanwhile, Cai Lin also sensed a subtle trace of hostility and wariness in the woman's seemingly casual compliment. Her long lashes fluttered as her languid gaze shifted between Mo Yu and Xiao Yu. Cai Lin already knew about Xiao Yu's identity, and though she remained outwardly calm, a strange, inexplicable emotion stirred within her heart.

As Mo Yu's fiancée, Xiao Yu was undoubtedly the legitimate, parentally arranged wife. Even if Mo Yu were to have other wives in the future, Xiao Yu's position would remain unique.

Recalling some of She Lao's recent words, Cai Lin found her heart rippling with complex emotions that refused to settle.

To be fair, after that incident, Cai Lin had considered Mo Yu more than once. Mo Yu's personal qualities weren't bad—far from it. Even among the snake-people, let alone humans, he was a prodigy whose talents She Lao himself admired. Sometimes, even Cai Lin couldn't help but feel astonished.

However, that didn't mean she was ready to accept him as her husband. As the queen of the snake-people and the inheritor of the Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python bloodline, Medusa was proud and aloof.

At the very least, until Mo Yu's strength surpassed hers, Cai Lin would not willingly become his woman.

But once the idea took root, it inevitably created cracks in the walls of her heart. While the cracks weren't enough to make Cai Lin decide, they opened a small doorway—one that might eventually allow Mo Yu to step into her heart fully.

This shift in her mindset left Cai Lin slightly unnatural when facing Xiao Yu, whose presence inexplicably made her feel uneasy. Standing beside Xiao Yu, Cai Lin's pride faltered momentarily, replaced by a hint of guilt and irritation.

Her frustration prompted her to shift her cold gaze to Mo Yu, her tone sharp. "You've established a faction yet act like a negligent leader. I've never seen someone as irresponsible as you."

Medusa's sudden frostiness stunned Mo Yu. Then, as if realizing something, he smiled wryly.

While Cai Lin's anger wasn't about his neglect of the faction's affairs, her words served as an outlet for her emotions. Mo Yu knew she understood that with Xiao Li, the former deputy leader of the Desert Iron Mercenary Group, managing Yuan Manor, the faction was thriving. This allowed Mo Yu to focus on his cultivation, a decision Cai Lin likely respected.

"Pfft, Young Master, everyone has missed you during your seclusion, especially Sister Xiao Yu. She's been waiting in your room for you every day!"

Qing Lin, sharp despite her young age and her experiences in the Heavenly Serpent Mansion, noticed the awkward atmosphere between Xiao Yu and Cai Lin. She smirked playfully as she spoke, her words deliberately breaking the tension.

"Qing Lin, don't talk nonsense!" Xiao Yu shot her a reproachful glare, her fair face flushing slightly.

Xiao Yu stepped forward, her long, white legs bringing her to Mo Yu. She noticed his slightly disheveled robes and reached out with her slender hands to smooth them gently. Her voice was soft yet tinged with reproach.

"Mo Yu, while you're now the leader of a faction with heavy responsibilities, you must balance work and rest. Don't push yourself too hard. Remember, your actions now affect not just the Xiao Clan but also our future. Don't forget—you still owe me a wedding. Don't even think of backing out."

As Xiao Yu's soft fragrance drifted toward him, and her gentle hands brushed against his robes, Mo Yu felt a tug in his heart. Flashing a bright smile, he reassured her.

"Of course, I haven't forgotten. I promised you before I left—I will give you the grandest wedding the continent has ever seen. And let me tell you this: no matter what happens in the future, you will always be my first wife. That will never change."

For Mo Yu, no matter how high a noblewoman stood in status, they meant little to him. Instead, he believed that when he reached the pinnacle of strength, Xiao Yu would become the most revered woman on the continent.

Hearing his words, the bitterness in Xiao Yu's gaze faded. She nodded gently, her red lips curving into a faint smile.

Watching the tender interaction between the two, Qing Lin smiled faintly, though her gaze carried a hint of envy.

Becoming Mo Yu's wife had unconsciously become Qing Lin's greatest desire. Unfortunately, she hadn't been as lucky as Xiao Yu, who had caught the eye of Mo Yu's family early on.

As she glanced toward Cai Lin behind Mo Yu, Qing Lin noticed that the queen's face was growing colder by the moment.

"Well, Young Master, it's not just me who's missed you. Qing Lin, Sister Zi Yan, and Sister Cai Lin have all been worried about you. You've charmed so many women—you'd better take responsibility," Xiao Yu teased, tapping Mo Yu's forehead lightly with her slender finger. A playful smile graced her lips.

With Mo Yu's heartfelt promise, Xiao Yu felt the burden in her heart dissipate, bringing her long-held worries to a resolution.

Mo Yu's brilliance was undeniable. Not only was he exceptional within the Jia Ma Empire, but his talent ranked among the very best across the Dou Qi Continent.

Over the years, Xiao Yu had harbored conflicting emotions—a mix of pride in Mo Yu's monstrous talent and insecurity over her own mediocrity.

The recent appearances of Qing Lin and Cai Lin had intensified her anxiety. Compared to herself, a young woman from a small clan in the Jia Ma Empire with average talent, both Qing Lin and Cai Lin outshone her by far.

Even though she had a marriage contract with Mo Yu, Xiao Yu couldn't help but feel uneasy about her place in his life.

However, when she met Mo Yu's sincere gaze, her worries evaporated.

Having known him for so many years, Xiao Yu could tell with a mere glance that Mo Yu would never betray her.

Understanding this, Xiao Yu let go of her jealousy.

After all, the Dou Qi Continent did not impose monogamy. Powerful men often had multiple wives, just as strong women could have numerous companions.

Mo Yu was a man of such exceptional caliber. It was impossible for him to have only one wife—many others would surely be stronger and come from more powerful backgrounds than herself.

To be his first wife was already a great blessing for Xiao Yu. Without the marriage agreement orchestrated by her family and Steward Mo, she might have ended up like Xiao Mei—relegated to admiring him from afar.

When Mo Yu heard Xiao Yu's words, he was momentarily taken aback before understanding her meaning. His heart warmed, and he reached out to tightly clasp her soft hands.

Qing Lin, observing this, couldn't help but beam with joy. Xiao Yu's words had essentially approved their relationship with Mo Yu.

She stole a glance at Mo Yu, her emerald-green eyes filled with bashful delight. With the first wife's consent, didn't that mean she also had a chance…

Cai Lin, too, was momentarily surprised. Her beautiful eyes revealed a trace of astonishment as she looked at Xiao Yu. She hadn't expected Xiao Yu to be so "magnanimous."

In the past month, Cai Lin had learned a lot about Xiao Yu—she came from the same clan as Xiao Li and had a longstanding engagement with Mo Yu.

Given Xiao Yu's small clan background, Cai Lin had expected her to be petty and possessive. Yet, Xiao Yu proved to be gentle, understanding, and generous.

As her expression gradually calmed, ripples stirred in Cai Lin's heart, and her opinion of Xiao Yu began to shift.

Breaking the tension in the air, Zi Yan suddenly chimed in, her large eyes twinkling with curiosity. "Brother Mo Yu, I heard that the Yuan Manor recently recruited students from Jia Nan Academy and strong cultivators from the Black-Corner Region. Do you have any plans for them?"

Rubbing his chin, Mo Yu chuckled. "That seems to be the case. Why, do you have a suggestion?"

"Hehe, I do!" Zi Yan grinned mischievously. Her immature mind wasn't yet interested in being one of Mo Yu's women. Instead, she proposed, "Brother Mo Yu, why not establish a new faction for Sister Cai Lin? Let her be its leader, with Sister Qing Lin as her deputy!"

"I heard that the Yuan Manor recently created the Thousand Medicine Hall. With Sister Cai Lin and Sister Qing Lin being so strong, adding another faction shouldn't be a problem."

Hearing this, Mo Yu paused, then a thoughtful look flickered in his eyes.

Zi Yan's suggestion was indeed reasonable.

As a Dou Zong-level expert, Cai Lin had immense strength, and Qing Lin, a Dou Huang, was no less impressive. Creating a new faction under their leadership would significantly bolster the Yuan Manor's power.

Turning toward Cai Lin, Mo Yu smiled. "In that case, let's establish a Serpent Hall. Cai Lin, you'll be the hall master, and Qing Lin, the vice hall master. Would you both agree?"

Before Mo Yu's words had fully settled, Qing Lin quickly responded with a cheerful smile, "Young Master, I'm willing!"

Xiao Yu, now at ease, offered a faint smile as well. With her newfound clarity, she no longer had any objections to Mo Yu accepting Cai Lin and Qing Lin, feeling no jealousy.

"Hmph!"

All eyes turned to Cai Lin, who appeared slightly uncomfortable. She cast a sideways glance at Mo Yu and let out a cold snort. While she neither agreed nor refused, her silence spoke volumes.

Mo Yu chuckled, already understanding her intentions.

Clearly, the proud Queen Medusa wasn't ready to openly concede, using silence as her way of expressing acceptance.

Seeing this, Mo Yu's lips curled into a faint smile. Since Cai Lin agreed, the establishment of the Serpent Hall could proceed.

With this addition, the Yuan Manor now boasted seven factions: Tiger Hall, Lion Hall, Wolf Hall, Worship Hall, Serpent Hall, Thousand Medicine Hall, and the renamed Hundred Weapons Hall. Truly, their forces were growing formidable.

"Caw!"

Just as Mo Yu was reveling in his pleasant mood, a sharp bird call echoed from the sky. Looking up, his expression shifted. With a wave of his hand, a suction force pulled down the messenger bird circling above.

Retrieving a slender bamboo tube from its claw, he unrolled the folded message inside. A quick glance was all it took for his face to darken.

After a brief moment of thought, he flicked his finger, and the letter disintegrated into ash.

"Qi Shan sent a message. It seems our Yuan Manor is in for some trouble," Mo Yu said, his voice somber as he looked toward Xiao Yu and the others.
