Repairing the spatial wormhole didn't take very long.

After about an hour, Mo Yu and the others, who had kept their eyes shut during the process, slowly opened them.

Unlike Mo Yu, who looked refreshed, the others had pale faces, clearly showing that repairing the spatial wormhole had drained them greatly.

Feeling the significantly strengthened Flash Void Breaking Thunder in his possession, a secretive smile appeared on Mo Yu's lips.

As the group regained their senses, the slowly rotating spatial wormhole quivered slightly. Threads of silvery light began to coil around its edges.

From a distance, the wormhole resembled a black hole filled with stars. Meanwhile, the chaotic spatial energy emanating from it gradually dissipated.

"Finally, it's repaired. Haha, thank you all! I, Luo Cheng, will remember this favor," Luo Cheng laughed heartily, sensing the wormhole returning to normal operation.

Despite his joy, a trace of doubt lingered in Luo Cheng's heart.

During the repair process, he noticed something peculiar. While the cooperation of Mo Yu and the others was a crucial factor, the chaotic spatial energy inside the wormhole had inexplicably started disappearing, as if being devoured by something.

Without this unusual phenomenon, the repair would have taken much longer.

Shaking his head, Luo Cheng dismissed the thought, focusing instead on the positive outcome— the wormhole was operational again.

Mo Yu quickly approached Xiao Yixian, his voice soft with concern. "Are you okay?"

"Just a little drained," Xiao Yixian replied with a slight shake of her head. Then, glancing at the invigorated Mo Yu, a trace of thoughtfulness appeared in her beautiful eyes.

"Here is the promised reward," Luo Cheng said, waving his hand. A jade box floated toward Mo Yu.

Mo Yu casually caught it and opened the box. Inside was a silver-white, oval-shaped magic core.

Touching the core with his finger, Mo Yu felt the distinct thunder attribute energy within. After a moment, he nodded slightly.

A seventh-grade thunder attribute magic core was indeed a valuable reward.

However, the greatest gain this time was the Flash Void Breaking Thunder, which had absorbed a large amount of chaotic spatial energy and entered its mature stage.

This progress had exceeded Mo Yu's expectations. He initially thought the Flash Void Breaking Thunder would improve slightly, but the immense amount of chaotic spatial energy in the wormhole had proven to be an excellent nutrient.

After devouring so much, the Flash Void Breaking Thunder was now just a step away from reaching its peak stage.

But Mo Yu understood that this last step would require devouring the chaotic spatial energy from dozens more wormholes.

"Still a long way to go..." he thought.

Storing the jade box in his beast ring, Mo Yu glanced at the wormhole and asked, "Is the wormhole ready for use now?"

"It should be fine, but I'd recommend waiting a bit longer. It's not entirely safe to use it immediately after repairs," Luo Cheng said, hesitating.

"There's no need. We have urgent matters and cannot stay here long," Mo Yu replied calmly.

Hearing this, Luo Cheng could only nod in disappointment. He took out a palm-sized wooden boat from his storage ring.

The boat shimmered faintly with silver light, emanating a trace of spatial energy.

"This is a space boat designed for use within wormholes. Its cost is exorbitant—over a million gold coins per unit. It's not something ordinary people can afford. Consider this a token of my gratitude for your help," Luo Cheng said, handing the boat to Mo Yu.

Looking at the wooden boat, Mo Yu smiled faintly. He hadn't encountered such an item since his rebirth. He accepted it with a polite nod. "Thank you, Elder Luo. Should I return here in the future, I'll be sure to visit and express my gratitude."

After bowing slightly to Luo Cheng, Mo Yu gestured to Xiao Yixian. Without hesitation, the two entered the wormhole.

As they stepped inside, their figures vanished instantly, and a silvery glow spread outward, merging into the dark void.

Upon entering the wormhole, darkness enveloped them. A momentary sensation of weightlessness swept over their bodies but dissipated quickly.

Soon, the familiar spatial tunnel they had repaired earlier appeared before them.

The tunnel's walls, formed by spatial energy, shimmered faintly. Beyond them lay an endless darkness.

Mo Yu took out the space boat with a flick of his hand.

The tiny boat seemed to come alive, rapidly expanding upon release. In just a few breaths, it transformed into a space vessel several meters long and wide.

"Perfect size. This space boat is quite advanced," Mo Yu remarked with a smile.

Infusing the boat with his powerful Dou Qi, he activated its energy input system. The vessel trembled slightly before a burst of thrust erupted from its rear. With a swish, the boat transformed into a silver streak, speeding through the spatial tunnel like a flash of lightning.

Space boats were remarkable tools, capable of traversing wormholes at incredible speeds. They connected two points in space, drastically shortening the distance between them.

By Mo Yu's calculations, traveling from the Black-Corner Region to Central Plains would take about twenty days. In the outside world, such a journey would take at least half a year.

At first, the journey was novel, but it soon became monotonous. Mo Yu and Xiao Yixian took turns supplying Dou Qi to the boat, spending the rest of their time meditating.

Time passed quietly amidst the monotony.

On the seventeenth day, a loud bang echoed from the bow of the boat. Mo Yu's silver eyes snapped open as he rushed out of the cabin.

His gaze swept across the scene and fell upon the spatial walls, which appeared much weaker than before.

"The balance within this wormhole seems to have been disrupted by an external force," Mo Yu said grimly.

Xiao Yixian's expression turned serious as she channeled her vast Dou Qi, enveloping the entire boat and propelling it forward. "We must reach Central Plains as soon as possible," she urged.

Barely ten minutes later, their expressions grew even more solemn.

Ahead of them was a storm of silvery spatial energy, blocking the entire tunnel.

Though the storm wasn't massive, its suction force caused their space boat to tremble violently, as if on the verge of collapse.

"Spatial Storm."

Fixing his gaze on the massive silver storm that writhed like a giant serpent, Mo Yu spoke slowly.

"What now?" Xiao Yixian asked, her brows furrowed.

The storm's intensity was suffocating, even for her.

"We'll have to force our way through it. If my calculations are correct, we're close to the exit. As long as we reach it, we'll be free from this storm," Mo Yu said firmly.

With those words, he glanced at the approaching spatial storm and continued, "Prepare to charge. You protect the ship's hull, and I'll control the speed!"

"Understood."

Xiao Yixian nodded and floated backward. Her delicate figure released an overwhelming surge of dou qi, enveloping the entire spatial ship.

"Go!"

A deep shout came from Mo Yu's mouth. With a flick of his sleeve, an immense stream of dou qi surged into the spatial ship.

The energy transformed into a violent thrust, launching the ship like an arrow from a bowstring. It became a streak of silver, crossing a thousand meters in a flash before plunging into the raging storm.

Boom! Boom!

The moment the ship entered the storm, it began to shake violently. Groaning sounds echoed, as if it were a lonely boat battling towering ocean waves, teetering on the brink of collapse.

"Mo Yu, the exit is near!" Xiao Yixian's delighted voice rang out like a lifeline.

Mo Yu looked up and indeed saw a faint silver ring of light appearing in the distant darkness. That was the exit of the spatial tunnel!

Bang!

Just as relief set in, an immense spatial force struck the ship fiercely.

The impact was so overwhelming that, without Xiao Yixian's efforts, the ship might have shattered instantly.

"The speed is already maxed out. At this rate, we'll be dragged back in!"

Seeing the dire situation, Mo Yu's silver eyes narrowed, his face more serious than ever. He turned to Xiao Yixian and said, "You take over the dou qi infusion to accelerate the ship. Leave the rest to me!"

As his words fell, Mo Yu's shoulders trembled, and enormous bone wings unfurled from his back.

With a powerful flap, Mo Yu leaped out of the ship under Xiao Yixian's shocked gaze and landed at the stern.

At the rear, Mo Yu waved his sleeve, unleashing a fierce gust of wind that struck the ship, propelling it forward forcefully.

As the ship surged ahead, the recoil caused Mo Yu's body to jolt.

Activating the Thunder Body, veins bulged across his body as his Demon Phoenix Bone Wings flapped. In a flash, he returned to the ship's stern, roaring with determination. Pushing the hull with all his might, he sent the ship hurtling forward, transforming it into a streak of silver light that pierced through the tunnel's end, disappearing into the brilliance.

Watching the ship safely exit, Mo Yu finally exhaled in relief. However, as the spatial storm closed in, his expression hardened.

Flapping his Demon Phoenix Bone Wings furiously, he pushed the Flash Void Breaking Thunder to its limit, traversing space to evade the storm's terror. He knew that falling behind even slightly would mean obliteration.

Fortunately, the Flash Void Breaking Thunder, enhanced before entering the spatial tunnel, combined with the Demon Phoenix Bone Wings, allowed Mo Yu to barely dodge the storm's relentless pursuit.

After a frantic escape lasting several moments, Mo Yu finally approached the tunnel's exit. Just as he was about to rush through, a sudden chill washed over his body. Instinctively, he dove downward.

Swish!

A massive silver spatial force, a few meters wide, shot past his head like a silver serpent and struck the exit. The ensuing explosion sent waves of silver radiance rippling outward.

Amid the chaos, Mo Yu felt an intensified suction force behind him, heightening his alarm. With a decisive flap of his Demon Phoenix Bone Wings, he turned into a streak of silver light and plunged into the glowing exit.

The instant Mo Yu entered the silvery passage, he vanished. The spatial region returned to its lifeless state, with the storm raging endlessly.

In an endless, reddish-yellow desert, gusts of wind carried sand across the desolation. The eerie howling of the wind carried a chilling undertone.

This barren landscape stretched as far as the eye could see, with no signs of life. Only the endless sand dunes and the haunting wind echoed through the void.

A gust of wind swept through a patch of yellowed wild grass. Beneath the grass lay a dark figure.

Struggling, the figure emerged, revealing a young, handsome face. Most striking, however, were his enigmatic silver eyes—Mo Yu, who had risked everything to escape the spatial tunnel.

Before he could catch his breath, an eerie, ghostly voice echoed across the desolate land.

"Hehe, to think you escaped the spatial storm. Truly a genius of the Lei Clan..."

As the voice trailed off, a black vortex appeared in the space before Mo Yu. From it emerged a sinister old man leaning on a skull-topped staff.

Mo Yu's face darkened as he recognized the figure.

"It's you... Elder Gui Zhu!"
