Chapter 47: Can you teach us the Real Hitsory?

Both went silent for a few seconds, the weight of the conversation settling in.

"Can you teach us the whole history?" Sakura finally asked, her voice laced with curiosity.

"Yes, we want to know more—not just about Konoha, but about you too," Ino added, her eyes searching his face for answers.

Naruto hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Alright. But you can't tell anyone."

"Why?" Both girls asked, confusion evident in their expressions.

Before Naruto could answer, Karin spoke up, her tone calm but firm. "If someone went so far as to fabricate history, do you think they'd just sit back if people started uncovering the truth?"

A chill ran through Sakura and Ino at the implication.

"Oi, Karin, don't scare them like that," Naruto said, flashing a reassuring grin. "Don't worry—I'd protect you both if it ever came to that."

His words, so full of confidence, immediately eased their worries.

Both girls smiled, their trust in him unwavering.

"Alright, I'll tell you everything during lunch. Deal?" Naruto asked, giving them a thumbs-up.

"Deal!" they both said in unison, excitement flickering in their eyes.

From a distance, Iruka had been watching the entire exchange, his expression unreadable.

"Naruto," he called out.

Naruto stood up immediately. "Yes, Sensei?"

"Tell me—who founded Konoha?" Iruka asked, his tone neutral.

Naruto met his gaze, his answer deliberate. "It was founded by the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju, after years of war."

The classroom remained still as Iruka nodded in approval. "Correct. Now sit down and don't disturb the others," he reminded him.

Naruto returned to his seat with a smirk, but deep down, he knew the truth he had just spoken was only half of it.

Madara's name had been erased from the history books—his role reduced to that of a villain, his legacy buried beneath carefully crafted lies.

But not forever.

Naruto was going to change that.

Soon, the lunch bell rang, signaling a brief escape from the rigid lessons of the academy.

This time, only the girls and Naruto sat together—an exclusive gathering for the day.

Everyone else was unofficially banned.

Shikamaru barely spared them a glance. Too troublesome to care. Choji, as always, was more focused on his food than group politics.

Kiba, on the other hand, was glaring daggers at Naruto, his jaw tightening with every bite. Why does that idiot get to sit with all the girls?! His frustration only grew as he watched Naruto casually chat with Karin, Hinata, Sakura, and Ino.

Shino, as expected, remained impassive. His expression—or lack thereof—made it impossible to tell if he was indifferent or simply lost in thought.

Then there was Sasuke.

Unlike Kiba, there was no frustration in his demeanor—no irritation at being left out. But there was something else. A flicker of curiosity.

Why are we being separated?

His sharp eyes lingered on Naruto for a moment longer.

Something was happening, and Sasuke hated not knowing what it was.

"You two brought Hinata too?" Naruto asked, raising a brow. "Did you warn her?"

"Yes, we did," Sakura confirmed.

Hinata nodded, her face slightly flushed but her eyes steady. "I… I want to know everything about you too, Naruto," she admitted, her voice soft but filled with determination. There was no hesitation—only curiosity and a quiet resolve.

Naruto studied her for a moment before nodding. "Alright. If you're prepared for the truth, where do you want me to start?"

"From the very beginning," Karin said without missing a beat.

She casually lifted a piece of food to his mouth, sticking to the deal they had made—they would feed him while eating their own meals, and in return, he would reveal the real history of Konoha.

Naruto sighed but allowed it, taking a bite. "Fine," he said, swallowing his food. "Let's start from the real beginning."

The girls leaned in, anticipation thick in the air.

This was going to change everything.

The boys watching from a distance were practically burning with jealousy—especially Kiba, whose eye twitched with every bite Naruto took from Karin's hand. The other side-character boys weren't faring much better, grumbling amongst themselves.

Naruto, blissfully ignoring the death glares sent his way, leaned forward slightly.

"Alright, let's start with the first question. Who do you all think founded Konoha?"

The girls answered in unison, as if reciting from a textbook:

"Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage."

Naruto smirked. Just as expected.

"That's only half the truth," he said, pausing for effect. "The real founders of Konoha were Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha. It was their shared dream since childhood. And one more thing…"

He let his words hang in the air, watching as curiosity flickered in their eyes.

"They were best friends."

Silence.

Sakura and Ino exchanged glances, Karin smirked knowingly, and Hinata's lips parted slightly in surprise.

The truth was already beginning to crack the foundation of everything they had been taught.

And this was just the beginning.

"If you want to know how they became friends, we need to go way back—to the Warring States era," Naruto said, taking another bite.

This time, it was Hinata who fed him. She was still shy, her fingers trembling slightly, but she gathered enough courage to follow through.

"Do you all want to hear it?"

"Yes!" they all answered without hesitation.

Naruto smirked. Good. They're starting to understand that the truth isn't always what they've been told.

"Alright, then tell me—do you know which clans were involved in the war?" he asked, testing their knowledge.

Sakura furrowed her brows, thinking. "I think… almost all the clans were involved?"

Naruto nodded. "Yeah, almost every clan was part of the bloodshed. But the two main forces leading the war? Senju and Uchiha—archenemies, locked in an endless battle for dominance."

He leaned back slightly, letting the weight of his words settle.

"The Senju weren't alone. They had powerful allies—Uzumaki, Sarutobi, Nara, Akimichi, and Yamanaka clans stood with them. Meanwhile, the Uchiha had only one true ally—the Ōtsutsuki clan."

Silence. The name struck them, unfamiliar yet heavy.

"But the Ōtsutsuki were wiped out during the war," Naruto added. "Annihilated. Leaving the Uchiha to fend for themselves."

The girls listened with rapt attention, their previous understanding of history unraveling before their eyes.

Because without the past, the present is nothing but an illusion. And without the truth, the future is hollow.

People say past is past, but if you don't understand it…

You're bound to repeat it.

"Then, there were two young heirs of those rival clans—Hashirama and Madara," Naruto continued, his voice carrying the weight of a forgotten past.

"One day, by sheer chance, they met. Both had snuck away from their clans, looking for a moment of peace in a world that only knew war.

At first, they didn't know who the other really was. They talked, trained, even shared their dreams—dreams of a world without bloodshed, a world where children didn't have to fight battles meant for adults.

They became friends. True friends.

But fate had other plans."

Girls leaned in, eyes wide, completely absorbed.

Naruto smirked slightly—they're hooked.

"Their clans found out. And just like that, their friendship was torn apart. They were never supposed to meet again."

RING!

The lunch bell rang, signaling the start of the afternoon session.

Naruto stretched and stood up, stuffing his hands into his pockets. "Welp, looks like we gotta stop here."

A collective groan of disappointment filled the room.

"But Naruto-kun!" Sakura protested.

"You can't stop now!" Ino whined.

Naruto shrugged, grinning mischievously. "If we get time later, I'll tell you what happened next. But for now—class is starting."

He turned and walked off, leaving behind full of frustrated but very curious girls.

And deep down, he knew—he had just planted the first seeds of doubt in their understanding of history.

It wouldn't be long before they started questioning everything they had been taught.
