Chapter 16; Assessment

The students arrived at the ground. It was surrounded with a few large poles. Prof. Noah walked to the middle before turning towards the students.

"This is the practise arena no. 3, where the assessment will be carried out. These poles are built in order to detect enhancers" prof. Noah explained.

Enhancers were a type of drugs which would temporarily increase the physical capabilities of a person by a certain number. The amount increased depends on the colour of the enhancer.

White - 1.5×

Green - 2×

Blue - 2.5×

Red - 3×

Black - 5×

They were authorised to be used by heroes who had atleast four years of experience. Prof. Noah called out a name. A student stepped towards the professor.

The student lunged at the professor hoping for an easy win. The professor stepped back evading the attack, then kicked the male student in between the legs making him scream in pain.

"Poor defense and tactics" the professor said.

This continued for a while... the students would attack the professor and would be handed a flawless loss.

Until the most anticipated duel finally arrived,

Lucas VS prof. Noah.

As Lucas stepped into the battle field, a rush of thoughts appeared in the professor's head. 'This is the best time to see what this Overlord tier monster can do.'

The two stood there for a few minutes before prof. Noah signaled Lucas to come at him.

But Lucas didn't move an inch. He stood there, almost like he had lost the ability to move.

The professor activated [Special class: Assessment ]. He was then given the ability to see the outline of others' energy.

He was astonished to see Lucas' energy. It seemed to be getting smaller by the second. Until it was as small as the heart of a human.

At that moment, Lucas lunged at the professor, catching him by surprise. The professor put his hand forward, blocking the attack. The professor felt his bones cracked, the moment Lucas' punch hit the professor's hand.

The professor fell to the ground, clenching his hand.

'What the HECK is this kid?!!'
