In this society, trade primarily revolved around food and clothing. Yet, the Young Bear Tribe lacked neither sustenance nor garments. The small tribe understood well that trading was preferable to raiding.

But they simply had nothing to offer.

Unless...they could join the Young Bear Tribe... However, this proposal faced opposition.

Xia Chen remained indifferent; he held no tribal affiliations. In this era, any group calling itself a tribe would typically merge with another larger tribe.

Apart from simple tribal identity, tribes during this time were highly exclusive. If an outsider joined a tribe, their status was often akin to that of a slave.

The institution of slavery itself served as a mechanism to reinforce tribal identity.

With no items to trade, Xia Chen decided to approach the Young Bear Tribe to negotiate a possible loan.

After informing his tribe, he set off towards the Young Bear Tribe.

Along the way, his understanding of this world became more complete.

Undoubtedly, despite living in a primitive age, traces of human civilization still existed. At least on his journey, he noticed neatly laid stone paths, which were unexpected for this era.

As per his knowledge, the Young Bear Tribe was the wealthiest within hundreds of miles, easily distinguishable even without text markers.

Although still in the early stages of civilization, they already had lime plastered walls—a sight that Xia Chen found quite incongruous with the era.

However, he didn't dwell on it.

Just as he was contemplating how to approach the tribal members, he felt a force drawing him towards something.

Following this sensation, Xia Chen discovered its source.

It was a stone table, upon which a sword was being venerated.

With his extensive knowledge, Xia Chen immediately recognized the origin of this sword.

The Divine Key, specifically the Key of Domination - Xuanyuan Sword.

Crafted during the previous civilization era from the Herrscher of a Thousand People's Core, it is the only Divine Key weapon capable of mass production. Its primary function after creation was to assimilate the abilities of other Herrschers.

This particular Xuanyuan Sword contained the powers of three Herrschers:

Thunder, Flame, and Ice.

Intrigued, Xia Chen couldn't resist taking hold of the sword.

Instantly, the longsword emitted a soft hum, seemingly possessing the power to influence celestial phenomena.

Wait, Xia Chen realized he hadn't triggered these celestial phenomena.

His eyes narrowed as he heard distant angry roars, followed by members of the Young Bear Tribe appearing, initially puzzled. Upon seeing the colossal beast resembling a mountain, they swiftly scattered in fear.

An elderly man emerged, noticed the Xuanyuan Sword in Xia Chen's hand, and shouted, "Leave the golden sword behind! It is our tribe's protective artifact."

However, Shaodian, the young man nearby, quickly snatched the sword from his grasp.

The middle-aged man watched his fleeing tribespeople with an inexplicable surge of courage.

"Ancestral protection, I beseech the divine sword to dispel evil and safeguard the Young Bear Clan."

Yet, apart from the monstrous creature drawing ever closer like a towering mountain, nothing happened.

The Xuanyuan Sword did not provide the desired protection for this middle-aged man. He was neither a MANTIS, a Valkyrie, nor a Stigmata bearer; it was unsurprising that he couldn't harness its power.

However, Shaodian remained unaware of this fact.

As he witnessed the mountain-like behemoth devouring the land vital to the Young Bear Tribe, many people were transforming into Drought Demons, their expressions crazed.

The tribal chief sighed deeply, "Is this divine retribution sent by the heavens?"

Just then, a thunderous roar echoed, and the colossal beast unexpectedly collapsed.

He noticed the young man whose sword he had just stolen standing before the colossal beast. With a single punch, Xia Chen witnessed the giant creature being toppled.

Hearing him mutter to himself, "I didn't expect the first Honkai incident to truly involve Chiyou. Such sparse Honkai Energy managed to give birth to an Arbiter-Class Honkai Beast."

"What a pity..."

Xia Chen then effortlessly manipulated frost and snow, freezing the massive beast solid.

For the current Xia Chen, achieving this feat was not difficult. However, such immense power appeared divine to the eyes of the Young Bear Tribe members.

With ease, Xia Chen used fluid manipulation to cut through Chiyou's skin and directly extract its Core. The Arbiter-Class Honkai Beast instantly transformed into a pile of rubble, collapsing with a thunderous crash.
