Chapter 482: Buy Me Sanitary Napkins (1)

Sui rolled his eyes at Utaha, feeling exasperated. "What are you mumbling about now?"

Utaha snorted softly, raising one of her long legs clad in black stockings and lightly kicking him. "I'm done with you. I'm going back to write my novel."

With her long, black hair swaying behind her and her graceful figure moving slowly, she turned and headed back to her room.

Sui, curious, followed her in. Picking up a random light novel, he made himself comfortable on her bed, sprawling across the soft blankets, ready to kill time reading.

The bed was soft, and it carried a faint, pleasant scent that lingered from Utaha. The warm afternoon sun poured through the window, casting soft light across the room, while the blue curtains swayed gently in the breeze. At the desk, Utaha sat quietly, typing away at her novel, the sound of the keyboard softly clicking the only noise in the serene atmosphere. Her fragrance filled the room.

As Sui read, his eyelids grew heavy, and before long, he drifted into a peaceful nap, cradled by the warmth of the bed.

It wasn't clear how much time had passed, but suddenly, he felt someone shaking him awake. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw Utaha standing in front of him.

She was blushing slightly, her delicate hands nervously pinching the hem of her skirt. Her usual composed demeanor was gone, and instead, she had a shy, almost innocent look in her eyes, like a pure literature club girl straight out of a novel.

Sui blinked in confusion, rolling his eyes. What's gotten into this girl today? He knew better than to be fooled by her seemingly innocent behavior.

"Kouhai-kun..." Utaha's voice was soft and unusually timid.

"Are you hungry?" Sui asked, puzzled.

"No..." she replied, shaking her head shyly.

"Then... are you in heat or something?" Sui asked, half-joking.

Utaha bit her lip lightly, shaking her head again. "No, it's not that either."

"Then what's going on? Are you feeling sick?" Sui's confusion deepened as he stared at her.

Finally, with a shy smile, she spoke softly. "Well... it seems like some 'relatives' have come to visit."

Sui blinked, processing her words, before realization struck him. Nearly choking in surprise, he muttered, "Oh... 'those' relatives..."

"So, Kouhai-kun... can you please help me?" she asked, her face flushed with embarrassment.

"You didn't prepare anything beforehand?" Sui sighed, rubbing his forehead, but still got up and headed out to help.

At the convenience store, he found the aisle with sanitary products, but was soon faced with an overwhelming variety of options. He stood there, deep in thought. What brand does Utaha even use? He had completely forgotten to ask.

Suddenly, he noticed a store employee, a young girl, staring at him suspiciously, as though he were some sort of pervert.

Feeling awkward, Sui quickly blurted out, "It's for a friend."

The girl looked relieved and smiled. "Oh! You're buying it for your girlfriend? Sorry, I thought it was for you."

Sui felt a vein throb. Do I look like a pervert? He thought to himself.

"Do you know what brand she uses?" the girl asked.

"How would I know? She didn't tell me," Sui muttered, rolling his eyes.

The girl chuckled softly. "Your girlfriend must be quite the handful."

"You have no idea," Sui sighed, thinking about how careless and lazy his senpai could be. "She even makes me wash her panties sometimes."

The girl stifled a laugh, but then offered some helpful advice. "In that case, I recommend this one..."

After making his purchase, Sui thanked the girl and headed back to the apartment.

"Thanks," Utaha said, taking the bag from him, her cheeks still tinged with a rare flush of embarrassment. She quickly disappeared into the bathroom.

"So you 'do' get shy sometimes," Sui muttered under his breath.

A moment later, the bathroom door cracked open, and Utaha peeked out. "What now?" Sui asked, exasperated.

"Um, Kouhai-kun, you didn't... install any weird devices in the bathroom, did you?" she teased, her expression playful.

Sui's face darkened as he nearly choked on air. "Of course not!"

"I was just kidding. Thanks again," she said with a slight smile, closing the door behind her.

A few minutes later, Utaha emerged from the bathroom, looking much more at ease.

"Are you all set now?" Sui asked, glancing at her.

"Mm-hmm," she nodded with a bright smile. Then, in an exaggerated, formal manner, she curtsied, holding the hem of her skirt and bending her knees slightly. "Thank you so much, Kouhai-kun. If you have any wishes, I'd be happy to grant them... like, say, a pair of original panties?"

Sui rolled his eyes, unamused. "No thanks."

Utaha pouted playfully. "Aww, my kohai is missing out on such a wonderful gift."

"Yeah, because it probably smells like blood," Sui quipped sarcastically.

Utaha's face froze for a moment, before she quickly turned red with embarrassment.

——

Later that evening, Utaha invited Sui to dinner. Though he was technically invited, it ended up being Sui who cooked all the dishes, much to his frustration.

On the table were two dishes: black rice porridge with red dates and a pot of pork ribs stewed with angelica.

"senpai, dinner's ready," Sui called out from the kitchen.

"I'm coming," Utaha replied, stepping into the room. Her eyes lit up as she spotted the dishes on the table. "Kouhai-kun, how did you know I love stewed pork ribs and porridge?" she asked with a smile.

Sui shot her a look. "This is to help replenish your blood," he said dryly.

"Re... replenish my blood?" Utaha blinked, then her face turned bright red as she realized what he meant. Flustered, she stomped on his foot lightly with her foot in embarrassment.
