To be with her only family means traveling far from her homeland, Barbie would become an orphan when her father died. But to her luck, her half-brother offered to take her to the far Eastern country the Philippines. She has no one to turn to so maybe going with him is not a bad idea.

The first time she steps foot in the country, everybody showered her attention and her brother's family treated her like she is one of them. Everyone except for Tom, her brother's half-sibling in his Filipino family. His dark penetrating eyes made her heart beat fast from the first time they're eyes meet. She never thought Filipinos would be as good-looking as him apart from her half-brother Rafael.

However, she needs to install in her mind that Tom is family just like everybody says. But what about the sparks when their skin touched and how can she deny the attraction she feels as fatal as his charm?

First Love Hurts

A question coming from Erich instantly followed as soon as I opened the door of my bedroom. Her face was worried as her eyes looked at my face and then I looked away for I suddenly felt the guilt inside of me. 


“Nothing happened Erich, I was just hanging out with Tom last night. I had a couple of drinks and slept.” 


Without meeting her eyes I said the words as how I remembered it. I felt her hand on my shoulders and then she turned my face slowly to look at her. 


“Barb, I need you to tell me exactly what happened. Come let us sit on the couch, I know you would never hide anything from me and I also know my brother.” 


I followed her on the couch for two inside my room and we sat side by side. 


“Oh, Erich. We just kissed and cuddled that’s all but maybe Rafael was too shocked to believe it because he found us both naked.”
