"Indeed, it was the government who had contracted us but why would they sell us out." Kurtz asked with constricted face, before sighing and looking at Linda who was refilling her cup again. 


"Maybe they were after us for proving too strong. After all, the girl captured is a strong Magician, maybe the government were afraid that a group who could capture such a strong breaker would be a threat to them, so they sought the Magician's help to get rid of us." She said and Kurtz face constricted. 


"So they were actually after me." He stated in realization, felling guilt well up in his heart. Now that he thought about it, it could be the other way round. Instead of the government calling on the Magicians for help, it could be that the Magician had simply sought him by themselves since they were actually after him, after all they were planning to get rid of all Vampires, he was a Vampire Prince so qualified to be destroyed as well.
