Kurtz calmly walked into the building, sitting calmly on a chair before turning towards the side where he could see Linda’s face fixed on the phone, her eyes widened. 


“Any problem?” He eventually spoke. 


Slowly, Linda peeled her face away from the phone as she stared at him, “you don’t always have to be so, pessimistic, you know.” She replied. 


“Am I?” Kurtz muttered with raised brow before shrugging, thinking about it more, it really seems Linda was right. “Glad it isn’t a problem.” He paused for a moment before adding, “I would like to know all that happened Linda, and what brought about the change in you?” He asked with thinned eyes and silence followed for a moment. 


“You noticed my eyes.” Linda eventually commented before standing from her chair and walking towards the window.
