At the brink of life and death however, Kurtz managed to find a hole in the magician King’s command. ‘Do not evade’ did not mean ‘do not defend’ so Kurtz hurriedly raised the sword just as the attack reached him, impacting the sword. 


The Lightning exploded and the world darkened in Kurtz face for a moment as terrifying lightning serpent slithered through every single space in his armor and when the explosion cleared off, Kurtz could be seen in a charred depression on the ground. 


His body was lying unmoving on the ground while his armor was completely destroyed from the attack with crimson blood flowing out within the cracks. 


Warbler’s voice suddenly roared from the distance. 


King Merling! King Merlin! King Merlin!
