A GIFT FROM FATHER

Roooaaaaarrrr!

Kurtz looked around in the dark as he heard terrifying roars from an unknown directions.

“Kurtz! Kurtz! …”

Several frantic calls reached his ear as Kurtz wallowed again in the darkness, “wait, I am a half Vampire, how the hell can’t I even see through this darkness and why I detect the direction from which they are calling?” Kurtz wondered and it seems his brain had also seems reminded of this fact at the moment.

The veil of darkness before his sight instantly disappeared as the chaotic noises around him turned distinct.

Now, Kurtz could see that he was at the top of a mountain peak and looking down around the mountain, Kurtz could see unending ruin. Crushed cars, shattered buildings, mutilated and burning corpses were the sole scene in his sight and Kurtz stared on, unable to process the sight.

Rooaaaarrrr!

Another thunderous roar blasted out in air and this time, Kurtz knew it was coming from behind.

“Kurtz! We need your help! Kurtz!”
